Fuck, v sad episode for both tribals. Sifu not making jury is rough. That is so lame that the first two boots into a merge don't make it. That said... Bruce has become mighty unlikeable but I feel like it would have been pretty criminal for him to go out here and without being on the jury. I've liked Sifu all season but he's been pretty invisible and out of the loop, so I suppose it's appropriate he's not helping decide a winner.

Kaleb, no :( I thought he'd won a ticket to go a little bit further after that close call last week. I honestly thought the idea of risking rocks here was really dumb so I can see why he got voted out... but I still had HOPE! Though that flash forward TC thing made me instantly think that the TC wasn't going to have much drama at all. Why else show that right then and there? That was so strange. It was like a scene in a movie showing how a plan is supposed to go which obviously will not when it actually happens.

Kaleb was definitely my favorite but I still like this cast very much.

I digested it more today and it kind of made sense for her. Kaleb and Jake basically told her that she was on the bottom of blue. Not only did they know about the idol and not tell her, Jake actively made an elaborate plan to trick her into not thinking it was an idol. The whole tribe was in on it except her.

If they had shown her trying to create bonds with red I’d see her move a little more, and maybe they didn’t to make the vote seem less obvious. I love Kaleb but their big plan to make her want to vote with them was to “reveal the secret” to her and that secret was she was on the bottom of their blue alliance. Pretty silly for the boys.

I definitely wanted her to vote with them. I loved that potential trio and Austin definitely would have cracked with 1.5 idols in his possession.

I think it was a good move honestly. Hate it for Kaleb, but I do see sticking with red a bit more of a viable option. I definitely foresee the two pairs wanting to turn on each other once they're more comfortable with numbers and having someone they already know they can turn to with Kat and potentially Emily, it'll make that blindside a bit easier for them to manage. Will it work that way? Who knows. But I feel like Kat would have been pursued by Bruce sooner than later anyway if Belo ever got comfortable enough with numbers to where they could afford to lose one of their own. And let's be real, would Kat taking out Kaleb really be considering turning on Belo? She can still very well go with Belo if she chooses. Kaleb was on the outs with everyone so she gave herself an opportunity to kind of play both sides. Kat can use the information that Kaleb threw Bruce under the bus about the idol to keep herself in their good graces.

I just think risking rocks for someone like Kaleb is foolish. We don't know if Austin would have buckled. He might not have with only a 1/3 chance. Sifu already got voted out and with Julie out right after, it would spell a Pagonging for Reba so it would make sense for Austin to be a bit more aggressive in keeping numbers on his side. Would have been fun TV though, for sure.
