Very good! Pee pads made me burst out into laughter.
Her acting has improved IMO, even if the scene on the plane was borderline over the top. still pretty convincing. I enjoyed it.
The roach thing is so funny to me. Also when that crazy astrology girl licked her forehead i died.
I also thought it was pretty obvious Piper was going to end up lying in there. I did NOT expect Alex to tell the truth, but looking back, it was pretty obvious they were gonna swap their intended actions. Can't wait for my friend to get back over to watch ep 2!

| I felt pretty horrible about Lorna's backstory finally being revealed. They heavily hinted in Season 1 that her "fiance" didn't really exist, but damn. That scene in the court was fucked. All that smiling and nodding along as Christpher described how much of a psycho she was for following him around. |

Wow. I really felt for Gloria in that episode. Was good to see her flashback. I love it when women-hitters are brought to justice, such a great ending to that ep.
I burst out into laughter when that cute old lady called Healy a shitlicker. so great.
Vee is super cunning. Gives me flashbacks :P
Loving this season highly recommended etc

So I finished Orange is the New Black season 2 tonight already and I'm immediately regretting the decision. I love this show so much and there are so many questions I want answered. What is gonna happen to the Larry/Polly/Piper/Alex love polygon? How is Alex gonna survive the goon being sent to her apartment? How is she gonna be back in season 3? What is gonna happen to Vee? Are Poussey and Taystee gonna get together (it was very will-they-won't-they this season) but I hope they do. This season was awesome because Piper was never tied up in the big Vee/Red feud plot but everyone else was so we really got to see all kinds of sides to the prison. I know I might get shit for this but this season felt like Game of Thrones in a prison. There were still jokes but this season felt more realistic, more raw, and darker. I wasn't crazy about the first few episodes, it was a slow burn but it really built towards the end and I think overall the season was the better of the two and I'm optimistic that they can keep the momentum going for season three and onward. I get the sense that Piper will be leaving eventually, because like I said, Piper was never really involved with the main plots of the season. Even in the big prison scandal plot, she never felt like a key player unlike the others like Healy or Caputto. I AM ALSO VERY PISSED THAT OFFICER FISCHER GOT FIRED, that was so fucked up. Oh speaking of, I really loved getting to see more of the prison staff this season. With Pornstache gone for a majority of the season, we had more time to focus on officers that weren't Bennet and I really enjoyed it. The background players like Bell and O'Neill both got their moments to shine and I really enjoyed O'Neill in episode 13. Overall I felt like the writers really tried their best to give us a wider scope of the prison and though they were very ambitious, it fully worked in their favor.
As a side-note, I have a major love for Poussey after this season as I expect a lot of people will agree. She got major attention this season being the only girl in her group that didn't work with Vee. This season was very well done. |

I got really sad when Piper said she only had 8 months of her sentence left, which is about half her sentence already. And apparently the real Piper got out two or three months early, to make it worse.
I hope this turns into like a jail Degrassi where we get to stay focused on the prison and it's current roster of inmates, maybe occasionally looking back at some of the released ones and what they're doing in life. I know this is based on Piper's memoirs, but fuck it. This show is way too good to end after like 3 or 4 seasons like it's looking.
Anyway, gonna finish the finale now. Hooray.
