It's my favorite show, but I have never ever played it online. I would love for someone to host!

Pretty sure DD isn't doing his just yet. I think he's doing something else first
I've been dying to host one again ever since EN Mole. Maybe I will soonish. MAYBE!

Finale
|
lol I think everyone called that
A bit of a letdown tbh. The way they did the reveal was terrible. I can't think of a worse way to do it than "will the mole step forward". I'm disappointed they did it that way. Why wouldn't they get all the players there? And do what they usually do with the players segregated in the rooms with the keys and all that. That's way more fun
And where did that 3,000 dollars go? And Hillal's missing freebie?! I was dying to know that
Really glad that Hillal won of the two though. He deserved it. He got better and better at the game as it went on and was extremely underestimated. I never would've picked him as the winner way back at the start
Overall I thought it was great. Wish the mole wasn't blatantly obvious and the finale was done differently, but other than that I enjoyed the season a lot |

That reveal was brutal. I wanted to see the reactions of the other contestants too.

Not upset with the winner at all, very happy for him. Erin became pretty obvious after the first half of the season I would say. She was always on my radar but I was 100% behind her as the mole around the time Alex/Kerrie/Ally met their demise. |
I hope they do another one, I really enjoyed everything about their series. I'm debating catching up on the older seasons after I rewatch The Mole 2 (US).

Yeah I started to come around on a Hillal win ever since he broke down during the auction when Sam spent all that money. He mentioned then that he wanted it to take his wife on their Honeymoon. Felt pretty bad for him. I started pulling for him to win during that final stretch when he started really stepping it up
Another thing that sucks about doing the finale that way was that we don't get to see all the insider shit. Mainly what would've/could've happened on certain quizzes. That was always really fun to me. The usually show who might've gone home if X didn't have an exemption or Y didn't use freebies. And which quizzes were broken with speed etc. I like that stuff. Bummed they didn't show it but oh well. I wasn't expecting to ever watch a new season of The Mole so I can't complain about the small things (:

Started to rewatch season 2 of US Mole! It's been 12 years. AND that season had an 8 month hiatus between episodes 3 and 4...so a lot of it is far from fresh in my mind. Outside of who the Mole is, I can not remember anything. Execution order, Final 3, Winner, or almost any challenges. Almost like a new experience! I do remember how much I liked the season, and seeing the challenges brings back some minor memories...
Like Al and his heart rate in the tightrope challenge.

Alright, AU6 was great for me since I haven't gone out of my way to watch much since US Mole 5 in 2008.
I watched The first season of the US Version around the time AU6 came on because I wasn't satisfied with having to wait a week for a new AU episode.
Sitting and watching the Mole 2 is hitting me harder with the nostalgia. I don't know if it's because I rewatched Season 1 a year or two ago, or what, but watching all of these challenges made me realize why I fell in love with the game.
The quiz where the timekeepers were the swimmers with weights being added after every 5 minutes? And the 3 people locked in the cage in the other challenge of the episode? Brilliant challenges.

The season two challenges were so great. There were almost no duds at all. Lots of creative stuff
I loved the one around F5. Where some people were up in a tower looking down at a little city and Heathyr was sneaking around grabbing flags. That's always been one of my favorites. The paintball attacker one is great too

I just watched the Mole australia season 6 and have been commenting to Curtis about it throughout
I loved it, it reminded me of American Mole season 2. What I really liked about it is the fact there were 21 episodes and even though some episodes didnt have eliminations, they built up characters. I feel like I got to know the characters well.
Thoughts on outcome
|
I figured out Erin was the mole at around final 8. Aisha and Ally were also some of my suspects. I thought Aisha two seconds in but then she became too obvious. I written off Ally as a wackjob (but seriously entertaining) then started to ponder if she was an actress.
I was watching Erin closely from the start anyways because she was the blonde ;o but I saw a lot of her sabotages and thought she was acting a bit. Her confessionals really made her seem strategic and a player whereas Aisha came across fake...which helped confuse me as it narrowed down to the final 3.
Hillal is a great winner in that I wrote him off early as someone who would probably get booted "next" I never once truly suspected him of being the mole and then I started to root for him to win when he got a small segment about wanting the money for his family. I was happy with the outcome.
I'M SAD THIS WASN'T MORE OF A SUCCESS
but the mole reveal was lame. The doors >>>>>>> and the eliminated players guessing who was the mole and winner is fun. It also lacked the cool what ifs that the American version had.
also the challenges were creative and fun. Sans aussie trivia ones.
Nick was such a sore loser, I cheered when he got terminated.
