have you checked out Outer Worlds? It's basically their spiritual successor, the Fallout universe is better but still a fun time thanks to the writing

also there's SOME hope that Obsidian can helm a Fallout game again now that Microsoft owns both them and Bethesda

I had/have it on my radar, but apparently it's disappointingly short (if you expect another Fallout-length game). If they could do something like that, but with the budget to go New Vegas length again, I'd be instantly sold. I need my immersive rpgs to be looooooooooong.

Yeesh I still need to do the Outer Worlds DLC.

But yeah, it is sadly short in comparison. Still lots to do and the major choices make it vastly replayable in a similar vein to New Vegas. Just thought there would be so much MORE.

Basically just been doing more of the same, lots of running back and forth throughout the strip

Pack Rat is my new favorite perk. And I’m def getting the one that lets you fast travel while over-encumbered next. What a game changer

Got a couple of things done that I’ve been putting off forever

- Cleared Vault 22. The idea of exploring the vaults has been kinda eh for me, I don’t love interior locations in this game. I don’t really enjoy exploring huge buildings with dozens of identical guest rooms with basically nothing in them. The vaults felt similar + harder to navigate so I’ve been waiting on them. But it was easy! And fun, I liked reading what happened there on each computer I came across

- Cleared the quarry. Finally mustered the courage to venture into there. Killed all the deathclaws and got their eggs. It was tough but doable. And the strategy was fun too, just slowly pushing inward and clearing out section by section. I love my Lily and Rex team. Rex is a BEAST! He just runs ahead into a horde of deathclaws and doesn’t give af

I only ever did this mission once and I climbed up a crane where they couldn't get me. I was absolutely terrified of going down there so I just camped and shot away. But I ran out of ammo, so I basically just waited and waited for Boone and ED-E to finally finish the job. I'm a big pussy!

Only thing I hate worse than Deathclaws in this game is Cazadors.

I was gonna say this same thing earlier. Deathclaws are tough but Cazadors are fucking annoying, they knock out my companions so fast

Done with basicallyyyy every side quest that I’ve come across. Last one I did was the stuff with Cachino. I sided with him against the other two bosses and let him take over

Now I’m finally diving further into the main stuff. I fiiiinally confronted Benny, been putting that off for ages. I wanted to go back and talk to House so I let Benny off the hook and said I’d be back and then he sent his goons after me and ran away to Caesar. Also I talked to Yes Man. His offer is intriguing, but I don’t really wanna become KING of the strip and control the bots at all? That seems to be what he was suggesting. But I also don’t wanna side with Benny and don’t wanna side with Mr House if he’s gonna try to wipe out the NCR. So idk what to do, I can’t tell what the ~good path is if there even is one. But I’m mostly being an NCR bitch cause like....what else am I gonna do, side with Caesar?? Hell naw. NCR isn’t perfect but they’re certainly better than the legion and they’re not bad enough to side with House and KILL all of them. I’m hoping my options become more clear as I continue

Next order of business is hunting down Benny
