You are bound, gagged, and dragged up the steps of the Townmaster's Hall. Mayor Salris smiles. "Yes....yes he will do nicely. Good work."

Salris nods his heads to the two guards who drag you further into the hall and down some winding steps. What happens next is mostly a blur as a blow to the back of the head knocks you out cold.

You awaken hours later. You try to move your hands and feet, but they are bound. As your vision focuses, you realize you are chained to a cold slab of rock before a blood stained altar. Before you, dozens and dozens of robbed cultists kneel in silence. You don't know what's happening, but you know it cant be good.

"I feel like bidding my time is a wise move. But if this is a sacrifice... that wait could be deadly." you think to yourself.

You've made your decision, you're busting out of here. The chains are strong, but you're stronger. While the cultists are distracted by one of their own rapidly descending the spiral staircase, followed by a torch that plummets from above and lands one cold stone ground with a thud, you pull your arms together and slowly strain the chains until they begin to warp.

It doesn't take long for the group to notice you. As they close in on you, you get one hand free and grab one by the throat, breaking their neck effortlessly. The rest are too quick. They pile onto your free arm and motion for heavier restraints. A few minutes later and your arms are bound with much stronger iron. You pull against them, but even a minotaur isn't breaking free of these.

That's when you see them, your friends. You peer past the sea of cultists and spot Rok and Ordella creeping down the stairs and hiding behind a rock formation.

"They came back for me!" you mutter under your breath.
