How about we each get a character at random? |
As in each other? Or made up characters? |
Each other! | |

Would it be alias or no? Would we know who was writing for which character?

That would be funny/strange because we'd all probably be voting to keep our character alive despite not being the person writing for them

Alias is a bit awkward though. What's the best way to do that? Send all stories to whoever moderates it and that person posts them as he gets them? Could be tricky

Alias. Maybe a new board with our Characters as our accounts or just make new accounts here

I was thinking maybe just host it off board.
I think that would be easier for it but I dunno.

Not writing for ourselves and keeping it anon could be hilarious

Hosting off board always runs a huge risk of being inactive though
I think it'd work fine if we just submitted it to the moderator and let them post if we're doing anonymous

There's kind of a problem with the moderator posting all of them though. The moderator will be sent a handful of segments. If he isn't around to post them right away in the order that he receives them, then stuff may not make any sense when posted together
Like, if we all post throughout the days as soon as we finish our segments, then the other writers will be able to read what you wrote and base their next segment off of it accordingly so it would all work and flow
When the moderator inevitably posts a handful at once, a lot of stuff probably won't make sense. It kinda loses the BUILDING OFF OF aspect

I'm trying to figure out a way around it. I'd much prefer it on site. I guess dummy accounts could work out but those probably won't stay anonymous for very long

We just need anon accounts and have a moderator send us who we are

I suppose but hey the two off board games going now are pretty strong I just figured it would work out pretty well.
But submitting it to a third party could work as well.
It would sort of put a damper on the collaborative aspects though.
