Rome 2 total war has been getting some really bad reviews from users (especially on metacritic)
Anyone have any experience with it? I havnt played it but most complaints seem to be about the UI, AI, Pathfinding, Capture the flag battles and shitty unit cards

I've been playing it, the game was without a doubt released before it was finished, but there have been a couple of patches now that fix some of the problems.
UI: ???
AI: The campaign map AI was shit, but has been improved in the recent patch.
Pathfinding: On the campaign map if you wanted to go from land, over the sea and to another land it wouldn't do that, instead it would go by land all the way around, so you had to first go to sea then to land which is very annoying, not sure if they have fixed it.
CTF battles: You've always been able to take towns by controlling the town center for a while?
Shitty unit cards: meh
Also there was a lot of fps drops in certain situations in the campaign map which has been fixed, the generals almost never marry and there's no family lineage shown. Also war dogs are apparently OP as shit.
But I still find it enjoyable yo, hope they patch it even more though.

Now free on XBL: RainbowSix Vegas
Never played any of the Tom Clancy games. Might fuck around with it a little bit before GTAV arrives later today. |

Four dungeons deep into Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages on 3DS.
Waiting for the sun to hammer fist its way through the morning sky so I can go grab GTA 5.
I should probably be buying a new headlight bulb instead of a game.

UI = User Interface
CTF: Someone said that normal outdoor battles (not in cities) have some strategic points to capture / hold. So you could just kite the enemy around the map with a horse unit and have your other units take the strategic points

You will need steam, but trust me, you want steam... It is the shit. It's free to download and easy to use.
And basically you can buy and play games on this software, but more importantly it has sales and cheap ass games all the time.
@Mal, I don't think you need a good pc to play limbo, its simplistic.
you can pick it up real cheap atm ($5 and a bunch of other games) also with the latest humble bundle

Ah, I just had a battle that had a capture point, it's only in battles where you have both land and sea units, so the one with sea units can't just faggot around and bail on the fight/shoot from the sea.
