We received the biopsy results and unfortunately my dad has one of the worst kinds of tumors, they grow back very quickly and there are slim survival rates. I'll be regularly flying from Hollywood to NY to help. It's going to be a long and tiresome road but my whole family has lots of hope and love and we are going to fight this thing and be one of the 2-3% that can outlast this specific type of cancer.
On the same day we received this diagnosis a cousin of mine was told they have pancreatic cancer.
Not a good week for the Vern clan.
In other news, Sansa should have returned on Saturday but her captors cancelled their flight last minute and then went radio silent on me. They want to keep her in Boston, and have even offered to buy me a new dog or to pay me a thousand dollars for her. It's ridiculous and cruel, especially at this time for me. Got in a huge argument with them and I threatened to press legal action against them if she was not returned ASAP. Thankfully, I've been told I will be getting her back Saturday night.. I can only hope this is true.
