So the whole dual enrollment plan for my daughter may be messed up for next year. She will meet graduation requirements this year instead of needing one more credit like we thought. I just went from organized, scheduled and ok with things to....holy....we may only have 1 year to visit colleges, apply, take ACT's, apply for scholarships, etc. -_-

Applying isn't a difficult process for the most part. A lot of schools have online applications and fee waivers. If you turn on autocomplete for applications time you can make your life easier.
The tests and visiting are the biggest hassles imo. Visiting is such a hassle that I skipped that step both times (:

Yea, I never went on college visits which was probably bad. I was just like, I like this one! But yea the ACT/SAT is such a cash grab from college board it's ridiculous. Not remotely fun.
She's her own worst critic so I had her take the ACT last spring. She'll do the test prep and retake it this year but she did fine. Of course, not good enough in her opinion. (I wonder where she gets that? (: lol )
