Don't you just hate when a show gets canceled without a resolution? Isn't it the worst?
I recently watched every episode of Soap. I'd seen a few here and there years ago, but decided to watch the whole series. It was made in the late 70s so it's outdated now, and some of the racial jokes, etc wouldn't necessarily fly today. But apparently it was controversial back then and part of the reason the network had to pull the plug. All the advertisers pulled out by the fourth season and they couldn't afford to keep producing it.
It had some really funny moments and some really emotional scenes as well for a show that was a parody of a soap opera. It wasn't very realistic, which was part of its charm. But overall, I enjoyed the journey. Just disappointing that it didn't have a proper ending.
And that's my review of the last show I watched. |
It's where I met Billy Crystal.

Where did you find this?
I loved that show. Some of the funniest scenes on tv IMO.
Burt Campbell owned me when he thought he was invisible.
I’ve looked for it a few times and have never found it.

My life seriously came to an end last weekend. I feel like a black hole has formed and my life is over.
I've been watching La Casa de Papel on Netflix (not sure whether it is available everywhere). It is so so good. Prison Break meets Inside Man (that movie).
I'm so sad I finished it, might need some other good Netflix series to get addicted to now. |
Confirming this is great, almost finished S1.

I'm currently watching Marvel's Runaways.
Good stuff so far.
I've also plowed through Billions, currently on the third season.

well, it starting showing on a local tv station, but I didn't want to watch it on their schedule, one episode per day. lol So I looked on amazon and bought it for not an expensive amount. I don't think it was an official release or anything. I don't regret the purchase, but I don't think I'll ever watch it again.

There are parts I like about it, and parts I don't like.
But I just started to watch season 2.
The last show I finished watching is Fringe. I had watched the first four seasons a while ago. Just watched the fifth in the last couple of weeks. It really went full circle and was a fun ride, but because the time between seasons was so long, there are scenes/references that I could have enjoyed more if I remembered everything that had happened in the past.

I could be wrong, but I think she's saying that show was her first introduction to Billy Crystal. But I hope she did actually meet him.

I also watched the new Watership Down series because I love the movie/book. And it was pretty great? I was surprised. A lot of great voice actors got brought in for it.

I finished YOU. I don't usually watch shows all the way through but I couldn't stop this one. It was a little over the top but I think that only made me love it more.

I'm watching Criminal Minds. Haven't seen recent seasons, could not care less about this new profiler's life. Has she at least been around for a while? If not she's totally gonna get killed or otherwise destroyed in a few episodes.
lol its murders based on a 50 Shades of Gray knockoff |
I love Criminal Minds! They do cycle through a good number profilers but Reed is the best one and he's stuck around :)
