I didn't post it before she claimed or before I claimed because originally it was just to figure out what her role was, although, it turned out to be what I guessed back on D2 lol.

Just going through her posts with initial thoughts. She said she sort of soft claimed on day 2, and hinted at role related things on day 2, and yesterday (D5), and today (D6), and probably other days too. She also said "mittens can probably figure out my role of he thinks real hard about it." D1: Wants to give Patrick a chance to play since it's been a while but says if he gets lynched she wants to take him down. Then, Lamps points out Patrick signed up 2-3 games ago so she's okay with lynching him now. Lynches Primate after Ender kill and Nofo modkill. Unlynches, lynches Timmeh. Other jokes, blahblah. D2: Calls Shadow out to report. Then says YEP when he asked if he searched her and asks him to explain himself. Then says she lied about searching him because his answer to her was fishy. Also Spin's kind of standing out to me but i can't tell if it's an actual suspicion or just me reading too much into something insignificant. If I was scum I would have played that gun thing entirely differently instead of breadcrumbing all day. THOUGH I will admit I was going to shoot shadow over Maddie until Zersch confirmed his results. But when I shot her I'm pretty sure she wasn't leading for the day. I think it was shadow or vladdy, though I'm pretty sure there weren't many votes either way that day. So I dunno why my gun worked but the lie detection didn't. It seems a little fishy! BUT I noticed when I was still only softclaiming the gun that no one was really acknowledging what I had, or acting like they knew what was going on. I'd say usually if you trust a fellow townie enough to give them a gun, you'd give them some sort of hint as to how to use it or at least that they're in on the joke with you. A liked post, or a joke, or something. And there was none of that. I gave PLENTY of openings for it too (: It's part of why I was so paranoid that it was going to blow my own face off (along ith the fact that we already had a probable dayvig, why would both a vig and a gunsmith be town aligned?), and why i made sure to be clear about what I was doing with the gun and when, because I didn't trust it. SO, theory, assuming spin's not just full of shit, which is definitely possible (but i don't feel like it's the case from the way he handled the gift): Maybe the gun is the result of a mafia jack or inventor, and they decided to hand out a good gun to a random townie as a way to legitimize their gifts. I think in most cases it would be for their benefit. A townie more than likely shoots another townie, a kill is added to the game. If the townie announces things, they look bad for a misfire. Also the gun's mechanics seemed to imply I was going to be secretly shooting the gun, but I was mentioned in flavor (but how could i not be tbh), so that's a possible way it may have been "trapped." And in the worst case scenario for scum, I kill scum with the gun, the lie detector becomes a lot more trustworthy and leads to more chaos (and the probably death of another townie) when it turns out to be full of shit, and either the person with the lie detector or the person with the gun or both look fishy and all attention gets diverted there.
