So I was bored and watched an episode of Celebrity Big Brother UK, and they have a twist where they picked 3 people (who entered first) to live in the house with everyone else, but in a separate room, isolated from them, and they have 24 hours to just sit and watch the other house mates and, after the 24 hours each of them gets to nominate one person, and ultimately all three vote to nominate one of the three. Then they get brought into the house with everyone else, and the house is told the person they nominated was chosen by "the fans" as one nominee.
Got me thinking, I wouldn't mind a twist like this in BB over here, definitely stir things up!
UK twists are usually really good. I remember that "Mole" twist they did a few years ago. After they picked the cast, they literally picked one person to enter by drawing him from a lottery machine. But he had to go in as a "mole" and complete a bunch of ridiculous tasks (Trashing the kitchen while the HG's are distracted, purposely throwing a luxury competition, writing a nasty message about another HG on a beach ball and claim it was thrown over the wall by a fan) Also had to sleep outside, wear a mole costume and other such crazy things. It was fun to watch!
US decided to try this twist with the Saboteur. And that right there should give you good enough insight on how good the US producers are at botching great ideas.
I didn't take any personally, but some are already starting to get put up online (or what I did take isn't really the kind of picture I can have plastered all over the internet).
