Yeah the 3D wasn't a great gimmick. Used it for a day before switching it off for good. Not worth the strain it causes.

yeah, I got my brothers a 3DS and they never really use the 3D part of it, don't blame them, it does hurt the eyes.

Smash Bros will suck for the 3DS, it is much more fun on the Wii U since it's a party game. I bought my 3DS last March, and I don't notice much in the 3D and I tend to turn it off for the battery life.

I really wish it was just for the Wii U. Sounds like a lot of content has to be cut out to make up for the fact it's on both machines.

That's another thing I'm worried about the next Smash Bros, no story mode, it seems kinda rushed, and it's for 2 platforms. Ok that sounds promising...

Wasn't too crazy about Crackdown, but whatever, free games. I always had fun dicking around on Crackdown. Just running around and blowing shit up. There's better open world games for that but I did like the power ups and being able to leap across buildings and shit, that was fun I bought Dead Rising 2 not too long ago. I gotta get around to playing that again. Didn't get too far for some reason but I've always enjoyed those games

Yeah I was gonna say that's one of my favorites for that. My favorite thing to do was to shoot those explosive canisters that would then fly away and blow up. But before one would start to fly away, I'd attach one end of that hook/wire thing to a person, and the other end to the canister. Then the person would fly off into the sunset being dragged behind it

I love when enemy cars are following me and I can just jump on the roof, attach two cars together and see them fuck up everything trying to drive steadily.

I also recently played an indie dungeon crawler game called Krater. Very meeeeh

Very similar to Dragon Age but a lot less fun and you can do a lot less stuff.

Wasnt expecting much but definitively not a very good game.

DR2 is fun, but I kind of rage-quit it today. Got semi-far into the first day and decided it'd be a great idea to never save while doing so. Died towards the end of it trying to save that Cowboy asshole with the shotgun due to fall damage... thought I'd jump off a small ledge instead of going down the zombie infested stairs. Obviously the 8 foot drop broke every bone in Chuck's body.

And since I didn't save, I was greeted to the opening intro of him tuning up his bike. Fuck that :(

I can't even count the number of times that I've rage-quit Dead Rising 1. That game is NES levels of hard. Every time I try to save the survivors, they either wander blindly into a massive horde of zombies or they just refuse to come with me and I'm forced to punch them. Like, how the hell was I supposed to know that the Japanese tourists wouldn't join me unless I happened to wander around the bookstore until I found a Japanese dictionary?

It's also nearly impossible to get a decent gun without killing the gun store owner, which is about as easy as playing expert mode on Dance Dance Revolution in a wheelchair, so I eventually just loaded up on orange juice, ran into the store, grabbed a sniper rifle while the guy was reloading, then got physically tossed out of the store with fifty shotgun pellets in my back.
