I think "Announcements" seems like a catch-all from FE tournies (FE Awards/Secret Santa), to board mechanics/issues/ideas, etc. Until I got to know the site very well, I didn't really know that poster ranks, etc would be under Announcements. So, maybe this is over-thinking or over-organizing but possibly having some type of "FE Mechanics" (for lack of a better term) category which would include things like, "FE Issues", "suggestions", "poster rankings", maybe even a tutorial for people - little tips such as how to use "Quick Links", for example, as a lot of people didn't know there was a calendar, or maybe other aspects in that drop-down list that people don't know about. Also, how to click on an icon to make it black & white. Or how to quickly change the number of posts in a thread page (which helps a lot if you're doing votals in mafia). Little things like that which I picked up along the way just by admitting I've been doing it the hard way all this time and having someone provide a helpful tip. :P

In general, it would be nice if we didn't have a thread created by someone every time they had a single message/thought to express to one other person. :P Or maybe dump those all in some category thread no one else has to look at if they don't want to. I know, this is asking too much, probably and I can just ignore.

Maybe a sub-category for Happy Birthday threads. Maybe a political category, although idk if it really needs its own.

Have you ever checked out the games that people are posting in the Advertisement subforum all the time? Those are ORGs. They’re typically Survivor or Big Brother games. That general community is where a lot of FE’ers have come from

It’s really similar to ATTWS, just Survivor instead of Mafia
