^ there goes your rep mate | "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

Not really into racing games but that looks insane. That's a gigantic map too, covering half the fucking US. I remember when Driver first came out, I thought it'd be a game like that where you could just drive anywhere in the United States and was disappointed to find it wasn't. Kind of crazy that concept has actually come true.

The crew looks really good. I like the whole street racing genre. I read a little about it. It spans the whole US. It takes 90 mins to drive from one coast to another. And there is no in game loading screens or pauses at all. It looks like there will be an actual story not just race after race because they talk about infiltrating different groups.

I pre-orderd The Crew soon after Xbox One was announced (before they redacted the always online, and no sharing stuff, haha). Here's some other games I pre-ordered just based off the trailers cause there was a sale where if you pre-ordered it within 2 days of the Xbox One announcement and got more then 3 games, you save 50% off each game, too good a deal to pass up.
Quantam Break
The Division
Watch Dogs
Along with Madden 25, Super Smash Bros, etc.

I know watch dogs looks great and is getting a lot of hype, I'm just not convinced on it.
I think I'm going to get killzone and battlefield on launch. (PS4)

Dead Rising 2 is now free w/ X-Box Live Gold. Downloaded it last night, but haven't played it yet. Still working on finishing up Saint's Row. I watched a LP of DR2 a few years ago so I already know pretty much the entire story unfortunately.
I like that they've been doing this though, ACII was a nice little gem. Wasn't too crazy about Crackdown, but whatever, free games. |

Apparently on the latest version of Skyrim you can essentially reset a skill once it reaches level 100. What this means is you lose all the perks associated with it and you have to level it back up again, but in return it allows your main level to be increased in the game beyond the original level cap.
So strictly speaking, if you play with this enough you can actually have a character with every skill perk active. Because you regain the perk points you spent on a skill each time you hit level 100 and make the skill "legendary" (it has no other bonus that I can see). You can then also continue leveling beyond the game's original level cap to gain more skill points on top of that.
This makes me happier than it really should. I hate having to be overly-selective with the perks because some of them are too good to pass up on. Now I can just do whatever.

I always had fun dicking around on Crackdown. Just running around and blowing shit up. There's better open world games for that but I did like the power ups and being able to leap across buildings and shit, that was fun
I bought Dead Rising 2 not too long ago. I gotta get around to playing that again. Didn't get too far for some reason but I've always enjoyed those games

So, I'm sure it's been touched on, but I'll revive it if it has.
I just bought a 3DS because I couldn't hold off anymore and I had gift cards, etc. Anyways, I bought the 3ds and I bought it for the new Pokemon games coming out in a month or two, SSB4, and finally, Zelda: Ocarina of Time. (Mal will like that I'm sure.)
I just started playing Zelda because a friend had it and let me borrow it. It's a good case of nostalgia for me. I just borrowed the one for the Wii from the same friend but didn't have time to play it.
I just beat the Deku Tree and that nasty spider, but anyways, I am enjoying it and the 3D aspect is interesting. It usually hurts my eyes after a while and I tone it down though.
That's it. | |
