okay who here knows how to run a DnD WHERE'S THE DUNGEON MASTERS STEP UP

I know DnD, but I've been thinking of a different RPG for some time. My original thought was to make a mafia version of it, but I guess it could play out more like a classic RPG.

The game is Paranoia, a humorous dystopian game where everyone lives in a huge underground world (coined Alpha Complex) after a mistaken nuclear exchange (coined The Big Oops). Society is all made up of clones and is stratified by the color spectrum, with Infrared workers (wearing black) as the low lever laborers, while Ultraviolet High Programmers (wearing white) have access to everything. The society is run by The Computer, who is a bit schizophrenic because he has a ton of different High Programmers who have messed with him over the years, but he knows one thing: The Big Oops was caused by Commie Mutant Traitors. The players have just gotten promoted to red clearance by The Computer and are now troubleshooters: teams who look for evidence of commie mutant traitors and eliminate them (i.e., they find trouble, then they shoot at it).

The fun parts? Everyone is a clone, but they aren't alone. Each clone has five other brothers/sisters who are exactly the same- a clone family. So if something happens to you, your next clone gets activated, which means you have essentially six lives. Why would you need that? Because Alpha Complex is a very dangerous place. You have to root out mutants with amazing powers or find secret society members who plot against The Computer. Also, every player has a mutant power and secret society, which makes them instantly a traitor in the eyes of The Computer. So half the adventure is trying to discover the crimes of your teammates while not getting them to discover yours.

I've played Paranoia before! It's wonderful and I'm definitely down to play that, too.

I love mafia but I think it’d be great to push for different types of games, stuff that would fit under “ORG archive”. Like as lowkey as Brian’s FEllestrations or a poll tourney, or more involved like an on site Survivor/BB game as we’ve done in the past. New types of games would be fun if anyone has any ideas and wants to run one FEndurance 2? @Bryce

Bryce did mention this to me a couple days ago when I asked about a different game. :P

Agreed- we have christian and he's better than a bot!

Happy to run one. I just need a forum and we need to solve the dice rolling situation.

We were doing it off site at FFA.

I have full access to dndbeyond.com so character sheets can be setup there for ease of access.

We need something that can be checked. The rooms we were using allowed the DM to see the rolls.

I am also up for running Call of Cthulhu 7th ed. I am just setting up some real life games to get to grips with it.
