also the funniest bug happened to me, I was starting a mission and accidentally hit the 'call car' button, but nothing seemed to happen. Then like a minute or two later when I was in the middle of a cut scene, the car comes out of NOWHERE and crashes into the hotel lobby and its smoking wreck just chills at the reception desk, with none of the NPCs even batting an eye the entire time

A friend beat the game and he loved the game and story

I don't even want to go into how much of a mess it was for me to get the game haha. My GameStop pre-order was with a GameStop that was in the process of closing, and somehow my pre-order got cancelled by them, and my money wasn't refunded. There's so much more shit that happened and I literally had to wait at a GameStop for over an hour as they called customer support to figure out the glitch.

But, I got the game! I dunno if I play yet though because it's for Xbox One.

I downloaded a 17 GB update yesterday and it apparently fixed a lot of problems on console, so I might give it another whirl.

tried this btw, weirdly no effect on frames but the loading time's are cut in half now so...improvement? 🤷‍♂️

I don't think that's for PC. I don't really have a reason to refund anyway, game runs fine on PC even if it's not quite as optimized as it could be. Consoles are where it's a real disaster rn

Eh. I won't refund it. I do ENJOY the game when it works. And I anticipate they'll fix it so that it does. I still haven't tried since the patch came out but a lot of PS4 owners I know have said it runs way better.

Lol I have a gift card too and debating using it by Christmas or on Boxing day, hoping the company is still around by then.

As for this game, I'm waiting for it to be stable. With 8 years of waiting I knew it would be a messy start.

where is this GameStop being on the verge of death stuff coming from? I'm sure they've been slowly dying for a while but I'd assume this year has been good for them with the new console releases / sharper growth of gaming in the pandemic
