Yeah, likewise. You had to keep track of where the Fury Blocks were so whenever he appeared you could get that off your list real quick. And sometimes the Cat-Shine you would get would not turn on the lighthouse so he would stay... that was also annoying! (:

I liked that the map showed you where everything was after.

The final fight was really good. Especially the ending in the water. It reminded me of the finale fight from Halo 2 in the warthog.

Also -- returning the kitties to mama cat felt very satisfying haha.

Just chiming in to say Nintendo's anti-consumer strategies with this were abhorrent. I love those guys, but they get it wrong so much. Not happy they canned Mario 35 either.

I didn't buy this, but I have all the constituent games and original hardware to play them on anyway (I have about 3 versions of Mario 64 across various consoles). So no big deal. I don't think Sunshine would work as effectively without the analog triggers, but I haven't tried it so maybe it's okay :)

I do want to play Bowser's Fury and it's on my list. But it's stacked behind about 50 other Mario games so it might be a few years before I get to it

I beat the Cat half of the game. And now found out there are 4 more bonus worlds. So. Gotta finish those too. Next

I’m trying to get all the green stars, stamps, and golden flags to unlock the final 3 levels (world) of the game.

You are an inspiration. I gave up after just beating the levels.

I wasn’t gonna do it when I found out HOW to unlock the final world. But. I got all stars/shines/etc for every single other 3D game. 100%. Even Odyssey I did almoooooost 100%, just the jump rope and volleyball level fucked me. So. I’m going for it here too.

You have to bear every single level as every character to get that character’s stamp after the final world is done too. Definitely not gonna do that tho!

K so I unlocked the final world and SHEESH it’s hard.

There’s three levels.

One is the final Toad level which was annoying but beatable.
The final purple circus level is 30 levels all 10-seconds long and it’s a huge bitch.
But the other final level is perhaps worse. What a nightmare. Spent more time on this level than like the rest of the game lol

I had no idea this was a limited release. I've been holding off on it for a long time cause of my backlog. I was in the mood for it finally after beating Luigi's Mansion to find that it's off the market forever. Very lame.

I mean they just announced Mario 64 was included in the N64 online app so that could be it .. or you know it's the Disney vault effect and people bought it because they didn't want to miss out .. which is what I did.
A quick google I see it on sale for like 50$ at some places still.

I didn't even care about Mario 64 tbh, which I definitely would have fucked around with again. I just never got to play Sunshine or Galaxy so I was really looking forward to finally being able to do so. Makes sense though, nobody is gonna pay for Mario 64 if they can just play it for free on the app. The 64 virtual console is definitely good news. And Win Back on there! Which I've been wanting to replay for ages and ages and ages.
