Is the point to pick songs you think everyone will like?

I'm going to pick 8 of my favorite songs, and I'm just assuming they'll all lose in the first round of the bracket!

I just started working on putting my list together, and it's currently 17 songs long, and I haven't even looked deep yet...lol

Don't go changing, the rules now. :P You can narrow it down to 8. My biggest thing was making sure the playlist flowed well, even though that won't even matter when it comes to voting. But I strategically placed songs where I thought they'd do the best.

I won't be changing the rules. I just have a complete backup playlist should someone not want to participate. ;)

I also reordered the songs for better flow. I'm optimistic people might like these slightly more than my normal playlist submissions.

I listened to the first 30 seconds or so of all the songs submitted so far, as I was working on building playlists in Spotify, and I'll say I recognized more of the songs by hearing them than I did by reading the lists.

Herm's list has surprised me the most so far. Not sure what I was expecting, but that wasn't it! Nice job.

This is going to be a pretty interesting competition.

But I love my playlist so much I've listened to it 3 times today.
