In deeper southern states the cuisine is just butter, (insert food you want to eat), toss in some salt, pepper and maybe some dales, then add more butter.

Grits have butter with more butter, then you put more butter on at the table.

Had steak, baked potatoes, rice a roni, and salad for dinner. Was awesome.

I just bought a brand new Dutch oven JUST FOR THIS!!!!

In the process of making homemade chicken chimichangas. First time I’ve ever made them.

Update: the Chimichangas turned out amazing.

Not food. But my drink I’m having right now. A crown Apple and sprite on the rocks. That mix is delicious

so I'm thinking this should be a monthly thing where a different person nominates up to 5 dish options and everyone else can vote on which they like the most - then we have the rest of the month to try the winner of that poll. We can always switch it up later if we feel a different format would be better
