I really enjoyed this episode. I actually was sad with the outcome. Wardog is so entertaining to watch. I was hoping for Jared the subway guy to get the boot, but then he got immunity. I think Aurora really shined this episode. And I liked how we got to hear from everyone during tribal. Ron was hilarious and had a lot of good one liners. Same with Aurora.

I don't mean to be results oriented but WOW what a bad move by Wardog last week. I did think it was a week too early at the time but I understand the argument that you sometimes have to strike while the iron is hot (i.e., although the numbers were there at 9, they might not be at 8 or something).

Not only was the move clealry bad, but the follow up was bad too. Like there was no follow up with Lauren (that we saw) and he didn't follow up with his voting bloc from last time either (again, that we saw). Like why not try to work with Victoria and Aurora again?

IDK yall it's like he put no thought into the pieces that'd be left on the board after Wentworth was gone, and no thought into how his stock would rise. He also said that he was banking on stupidity which would lead people to keep him, but in the same episode he said he knew the "goats" would get together to take out the "threats," which implies that they're not stupid and thus he shouldn't bank on their stupidity? Just really bad move by Wardog last week and I'm glad he had to pay up this week.

Yeah, Wardog fucked himself over haaard with playing too hard and not having a backup plan.

The Survivor community is so funny sometimes during the airing of seasons. On reddit people were mentioning that Lauren/Kelley/Wardog was one of the best Survivor trios of all time, and that Wardog was as good a player as Tony which was hilarious when viewed in retrospect given their 'alliance' just fell apart with no explanation whatsoever on why. Also, those 'balls of steel' memes and HYPE-machines when it came to Kelley/Lauren not using their idols to only have Kelley be voted out with an idol shows how hilariously reactionary the community is sometimes. Part of it's charm I guess? Haha. Hype culture is fun to a certain degree. It's funny seeing people get way ahead of themselves though.

I'm sure the editing doesn't help this season either, as it feels disjointed at best and can in result of that feel misleading... no overarching storylines and very inconsistent bond development between the castaways. Which I'm sure largely has to do with EoE, I couldn't imagine how daunting of a task it is to edit this season. Really makes me wish the episodes were atleast 20 minutes longer. Jeff was apparently making a point about that in an article I read last week... possibly for S40?

Either way though - this episode by itself was the best one of the season for me personally. Very old-school type of vibe which I particularly enjoyed (with no pre-tribal advantage talk, a cultured reward, human moments with real emotions)! Much better than the rushed episode of last week!

So far I'm getting the impression that this season will go down as an odd-ball type of season in retrospect. Kind of in the same vein as South Pacific but in a different kind of way. But I feel like it's been a divisive enough season for it to garner a cult-following as the years go by. Interested to see if my prediction is right.

I mean, it should be so simple.
Eventually Wardog will win immunity if they keep letting him go through.

Christian, I was with you up til here. I've never seen someone who looks to be in such great shape do so badly in challenges. The opposite can be said for Rick lol.

Go Gavin! He's super adorable. I love his soft-spokeness... his anger level was pretty high but you couldn't tell by his tone, just his words. lol

I loved seeing Rick surprised by the vote.

Also, the way those 3 guys were discounting the women... not good, guys! Those women are going to kill you all, I hope!

I actually was not happy that both Kelley & David got elim'd last week. Kelley because, while she's not that likeable, I liked watching her keep surviving and hanging onto that idol week after week when they should've already gotten rid of her. I really liked David this season so I'll miss him.

That being said, I felt like this week was SO enjoyable just because there are not vets left and I am kind of liking most of them - except Rick Devens. Mostly just his attitude and cockiness, I guess.

I really want to see Victoria pick up her game because I like her and I want to see her get to the end and have something to say when she does.

I also like Laurel but her gameplay is kinda meh.

Julie is really growing on me. Also, she really handled her convo with Ron so perfectly when he was apologizing for last week's blindside. I hope she's lying, I think she is. I'd love to see her backstab Ron lol.

what are all you people doing in here? :P

I don't mind Devens because he's really got nobody. He was voted out and came back, so he's a bit of a loner underdog, even though he just won immunity.

Now that Wardog is gone, I'd love to see Ron go next.

I'm going to root for Julie all the way now. Hopefully she joins back up with Victoria and Gavin. It'd be nice to see that group of people take over the game.

yeah lol, Wardog screwed the pooch last week as much as I loved seeing him pull the move on Kelley. He put himself at the mercy of...everyone. He should've just done Aurora then and then Kelly right after, she was such a shield for him. Ron might've made the same mistake tonight tbh, but he's also not as overtly threatening as Wardog since he's not stupidly aggressive like he is

Devens is still the best. I was so pumped when he won. He's somehow won three individual challenges so far, that's hilarious. Him saying the girls weren't doing anything was a bad look tho

Can't believe David-Kelley-Wardog went back to back to back. The whole season was about them and Devens. I feel like we're gonna get a sleeper winner for sure. What happened to my girl VICTORIA! Faded into the background at merge

also the end of episode Extinction scenes with Reem are hilarious. It's like always the same type of clip. The person walks on the beach in the dark and you hear Reem off-screen yell "AW DUDE I'M NOT HAPPY WITH YOU, YOU ARE IN FOR A WORLD OF HURT"
