Even though I don’t like the twist, I thought the ending was super epic and really interestingly framed. I can only imagine the casuals are freaking out

Honestly, up until the switch to the format at the end, I was like just meh about the whole episode. Then I was intrigued and wanted to watch the next episode immediately.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the twist itself, but seeing the game be different felt weird but also like it was needed? In my opinion anyway. :P
Do we know much of how the edge of extinction works?

Rick looks like Jared the subway guy. I'm not a fan of Rick and the wardog so far. Love Lauren and Keith.

I'm a casual and felt this episode didn't fully capture my interest like last season. I actually found the dramatic editing of Reem (love her) arriving at extinction island as dumb and funny.
