I can finally come in here!
I loved it. Just got back from the movie.

They tied all the movies and everything that happened in them together very well.
I could feel myself getting a little emotional knowing this would be the last time this particular group of characters would likely be together. It was a perfect ending to what they started all those years ago.

Also, some people mentioned it --- Sam Wilson becomes Captain America in the comics, but I don't know if he had super strength or anything like that. I can't remember what happened to Captain Marvel, though I'm sure she's got another movie in the works. I feel like the last shot she was in was Thanos knocking her out before Tony took the stones.
Fully expected Iron Man to get killed, fitting that he dies as the ultimate sacrifice. Makes tons of sense given Tony Stark's character arc across all the movies.
Also fully expected Captain America to die, so I was quite surprised he didn't.
Fat Thor is great tier, and Asgardians of the Galaxy can take all my money.
My theater was full of idiots mad that Thanos got beheaded 15 minutes into the movie, talking about they wanted refunds or wondering if they forgot to rewind the movie.
Everyone coming through the portals for the final Assemble was hype.
All in all, a great movie and worthy of being the end of this saga.
What's interesting to me is technically the new spider Man ends Phase 3, not end game. Interested to see how it wraps things up because I heard it's supposed to start like minutes after all the stuff in end gsme

I think
probably. There were so many people there, it may have slipped my mind.
Apparently in Age of Ultron, Captain America was supposed to have been able to lift Mjolnir, but chose not to after realizing he could (hence the small nudge). The director or something along those lines hinted at that being what happened, and I guess it's kind of confirmed after this movie? Weird that he knew how to use lightning and everything immediately though, lol.
avatar did a re-release as well to get that record. Not sure if this will get them the last $45-50 mil that they need but it will help. If they did an extended cut they definitiely would topple it. But could your really do an extended cut on a 3hr long movie?
I don't think there's any way it doesn't top it after this news, it's probably gonna get an uptick next weekend
It's funny that Disney is so transparently trying to topple Avatar's record with this even though they own it now. tbh even though I didn't care much for Avatar, I kinda liked it holding onto the record just cuz it was so...weird for it to even be there. It wasn't a franchise property of any kind, not a movie people really talk about anymore, but yet it somehow has held onto its record with ease for almost a DECADE, despite inflation and all the huge Star Wars/Marvel movies that have come out since

I bet a month or 2 before the 2nd Avatar releases they re-release the first and it over takes End Game
