ALSOOOOOO no bueno! What a cold streak as expected
I think this was Pixar's first movie to be rotten on RT. Ended a great streak. It's clear to see why, it's p shitty. I have no idea why it was even made, there was no need for a sequel at all
Don't have much to say really. New characters weren't very fun, spy plot was boring, almost no jokes landed. Just v. lazy overall
4/10.

It was average to a fault really. It was fiiiiiine but just fine is still disappointing with Pixar. Read a lot of reviews that compared it (most unfavorably) to more standard Disney movies instead of Pixar movies and that felt accurate
Story and message were just too straightforward. Everything was obvious. Wasn’t very interesting or funny
Main character was good. The three brothers were kinda fun. REDHEAD REPRESENTATION!! No fun side characters at all tho
This review was largely negative but it was fine and competent enough to get an average 6/10

Continuing my trend of alternating Cars between standalone movies. Which mans Cars 3 next
Then an Incredibles double feature to hopefully end this shitty streak strong. Then I’m allllll done

oof definitely not. They've got 36 animated movies. I've seen six of them and I'm interested in one more at most

I've got some other franchise/studio/misc ideas to chip away at after this. Might leave it up to a poll

+Ratatouille
Rankings:
Inside Out
Big Hero 6
Tangled
Wreck It Ralph
Frozen
Ratatouille
Monsters University
It was decent. I don't have a lot of bad to say about it but it definitely did not blow me away. I read through some trivia notes as I always do after I watch a movie and was shocked at how many accolades it got. Excuse me? |

100% it's because they gave a sympathetic portrayal of the critic/made him a sort of central character and they IDENTIFIED with that. I can't think of any other explanation

tbf though it looks like there were only 3 animated feature noms that year and one of them was...Surf's Up?? So maybe it didn't have the best competition
