Ahoda I mean you replicate all things Spider-Man can do |
Web slinging still isn't a super power. It's a technology. |
I'll still take it. I know traditionally, it's not a super power, but in at least one adaption, it's part of him.
Years ago when some Spider-man video game came out, I had been playing every day. And one time, after I was finished work, I thought to myself how much quicker it would be to just swing from lamp post to lamp post all the way up this hill I had to walk up. And for one split second, I thought it was possible until I remember I wasn't in the video game. :P But anyway, it'd be a fun way to travel and convenient. I thought about Nightcrawler's teleportation but didn't choose it in case it came with the condition that he has to see where he's going to teleport there.
The second one I chose was Luke Cage. Unbreakable skin and strength seems like it could be pretty useful.
|
With Magneto's power, you just lift yourself and levitate home.
We also get our helmet that blocks out telepathy so Curtis can't read our mind.
|
but I wouldn't find it as fun as swinging on a web! That's the whole point. lol |
You could pull metal cables out of the area and then swing on those. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

But what about leaving all those webs hanging all over?
Also, to handle the web shooter debate:
|
A bite from a radioactive spider triggers mutations in Peter Parker's body, granting him superpowers.[85] In the original Lee-Ditko stories, Spider-Man has the ability to cling to walls, superhuman strength, a sixth sense ("spider-sense") that alerts him to danger, perfect balance and equilibrium, as well as superhuman speed and agility.[85] The character was originally conceived by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko as intellectually gifted, but later writers have depicted his intellect at genius level.[86] Academically brilliant, Parker has expertise in the fields of applied science, chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, mathematics, and mechanics. With his talents, he sews his own costume to conceal his identity, and he constructs many devices that complement his powers, most notably mechanical web-shooters to help navigate and trap his enemies along with a spider-signal as an flashlight and a warning beacon to criminals.[85] |

It’s a hot mess with the story and things happening but they did a good job with Peter and Gwen’s relationship and a spin on comic accuracy

Better than having to repair streets and buildings and cars and whatever else you destroy.

the original Tobey Maguire Spider-man was the only movie I've ever seen in the theatres twice. I was a little obsessed. I even bought the soundtrack and I listened to it, even though the guy from Nickelback was on it...lol

I'm Magneto; I don't have to repair shit. That's for homo sapiens sapiens to deal with.

And YOU act like I wouldn't get the real Magneto to take you down, if me and my webs/strength/unbreakable skin couldn't get the job done.
Or I'd get my friend's neighbour who works with one of Jubilee's parents to get Jubilee's parents to get Jubilee to get Storm to get Charles Xavier to get the real Magneto to take you down. He'd also get the other X-Men. And I'd get Igor and his cheddah.
