If you stop after the first 30 minutes, no one will judge you.

From what I remember, Captain America is going to be seem kind of slower than the rest of the movies you've seen already. I did like it more than Thor. But the first Thor is better than the second Thor.
I'm going to see Infinity Gauntlet without having seen Dr. Strange and Ragnarok, but I'll watch them later.

I thought Dr. Strange was one of the worse Marvel movies. I didn't care for it that much.

I personally liked it more than a lot of the other ones, the cast is stacked and the visuals are great.

It could have been a great one if they didn't make Mads' character so one dimensional like they always make the villains.

Agreed. It has an edge for uniqueness and visuals but Mads had way more potential, they wasted him

I forgot that Thor explains where a couple people have been.

Def watch last Thor and Civil War. Prob the most important 2 movies before infinity war.
Then we can meet up and go watch Avengers this weekend.

Thor 2 technically sets up infinity stones

There was one minor thing that bugged me about Civil War

I like that trailer and I’ve watched it a handful of times (I’m a movie trailer nerd). But they went with alternate takes of certain lines for the final cut, it was annoyingly noticeable to me. Best example is Tony’s great “so was I” from the trailer. RBJ kills that line, it’s maybe my favorite shot/line in the MCU and got me excited for this movie. But the one they used for the final cut of the movie wasn’t nearly as good/impactful, it sorta ruined that moment. Pissed me off!!!!!!! You know? Anyone? ..guys?

I hate when i see that, and I'm always so confused afterwards. Like good enough for trailer, but nothing else??
Rodney is a great guy. Oops, nevermind he's a terrible human being.
He likes his sandwiches to be Turkey and Swiss. Triangle cut. Let vern have his crust. Poison the part Rodney eats.

NEXT UP. Captain America: The First Avenger

It was actually....p decent! I liked it enough. It wasn't offensively mediocre like some of the newer ones are

It's kinda cool to watch these so out of order like I said earlier. I've seen Captain America in four movies before this without ever having seen his origin story. So even though the info in it is all dated it's still cool to go back and see it all happen. It's like watching Lost and you finally get a flashback episode for an established character, it's kinda neat. It maybe is making me appreciate it a little bit more

Evans was more likable here as Captain than any of the other four imo. Same with Bucky. I hate the Winter Soldier, I think he's such a boring character. But he was better here than in Winter Soldier/Civil War/whatever. Wish Neal McDonough and Derek Luke had more to do, I like those guys. Hugo Weaving was a fine villain as he always is. At least he...looked memorable I guess?

It sorta reminded me of Indiana Jones throughout. The nazi villain fucking with something sci-fi/supernatural that he can't control and it ends up killing him. Alt-history. Some old school WAM BAM punches and action, that was probably the best part. It had good practical effects and they were noticeably better than the CGI fests that these have become. The CGI in this was horribly dated and looked so bad, so the practical action scenes really stood out

My favorite of the three Captain America movies. Didn't like Winter Soldier one BIT!

That's what I'm thinking. Might finally be time to be rid of Thor 1 and 2 once and for all

Thor, then Hulk to break it up, then Thor 2 to get the last bad one done, then Iron Man 3, then Ragnarok since it's a pretty direct tie in for IW

Last thor def the best, leave that for last.

I'd watch Iron man first to get the bad movie taste out first
