Now that Favreau is freed up from Lion King he plans to direct a few S2 eps which should help
Speaking of which, apparently on the set of Lion King he happened to be chatting with Donald Glover about the show, and it was Donald that suggested keeping Baby Yoda a complete secret ahead of the show airing since that kind of thing rarely happens anymore

Oh also
"He's able to move things with his mind"
"Ah yes, I've heard such a tale. He's one of those ancient sorcerers"
..what? This takes place five years after Jedi. You're telling me after just FIVE years no one has heard of the force or Jedi or Sith or any of it? And yet the force is common knowledge in the new trilogy. GOOFY!

The new trilogy isn't canon, I won't be told otherwise.

Luke didn't know what the Force was in Star Wars Episode IV, and had very limited knowledge of the Jedi Order before the rise of the Empire.
Maybe the Empire did a lot of "book burning" or something between the OT and PT.

I mean it's not like he was in the show a lot to begin with. When I found out he wasn't even in the suit 80% of the time I was wondering why they even hired him lol

lol the fact that this (supposedly) happened and it wasn't even huge news tells you something, it really doesn't matter what actor is in the suit. tbf I wouldn't blame him for being upset (assuming he had different impressions when he signed up for it), it's kind of a waste of his talents

also wtf
|
And you combine that with Lucasfilm already trying to get involved with story aspects of Season 2, which I’ve also heard. Including focusing more on standalone episodes rather than making them more connected, which I’ve heard The Mandalorian creative team wanted to do, which was kind of happening at the end of Season 1. |
how could it possibly get MORE episodic?? And WHY is that something they'd want, it makes no sense. Look at any popular drama these days (network TV notwithstanding ofc)
