I think I stopped counting once it passed $1k. It was just way too easy to drop $50 a season or something without noticing how quickly that was building up.

Of course I wouldn't be here without Bort. But I didn't need to give him a rent check in the process.

I think I figured my glb up once and it was a few hundred bucks or so. I only have about 10,000 flex left or something like that.

I just added up my total. The total $$ spent purchasing flex on my account (not all me -- I had a wealthy benefactor for a couple of seasons) was $948.17, so not quite a grand. I'm down to about 4200 flex at the moment.

A buddy of mine still has over 180k flex just sitting there. I shudder to think how much he spent as I've blown through about half of it in the last couple of years just fucking around with teams and things.

I log in every 2-3 mo or so and view the desolate wasteland and then leave

It kind of sucks, even if you do pay money. ;)

Seriously, I loved it when they were still working on it, but they kind of just quit and let it stagnate. It was sort of a catch 22, though. You would spend a year Building a beast player, then they would nerf him and make him useless right when you started enjoying all the time you put in. It went from that, to complete stagnation with no middle ground.
