By the way: upset there was no hat mentions in my flavor.
And I got everything I wanted out of the game Paul, so sincerely, thank you. =)

And Rob... ;) we're both alive!

For about a half a second, when reading the closing flavor, I thought that there was gonna be some reveal of Rob and Natalie with some kind of Lover-esque roles! Which would've been one hell of a twist, since those two are the only two that I never truly suspected as Scum at any point in this game. |

You know Helios is scum when he summarizes everything and then adds to the discussion by picking out one random sentence someone says and writes an italicized diatribe about how it's curious and he really, REALLY wants to know more about it.
"What did you mean by this, though? You are eating a biscuit? A BISCUIT???? Seems a little farfetched to me. Really gonna need to hear more about this biscuit situation." | Yes
With some form of over the top, “Wait, what the actual fuck?!” thrown in
| A biscuit? Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?
Say it with me... inactive biscuit is still biscuit. And my key to victory. |

Yeah this game wasn't bad. It was certainly no Lab/Lab 2, but I didn't expect it to be and I enjoyed it.

Not been done in a Lab game yet. You've blown our big reveal for Lab 3 though :(

lol with all the emphasis the flavor seemed to have on Rob, I expected there to be a Keyser Soze reveal with him being the head scum the whole time

Also I really appreciate the kind words. I've been incredibly nervous about the final showdown for some time, expecting this sort of a thing to happen.
There were some fundamental issues with the design which I'll get into in another thread. The prime motivation was to tell a story, and at the least I hope that was fulfilling.
There is more plot to come. I have epilogues spinning in my head, they'll just come out better if I sleep. When I'm tired and hammering fast flavour it tends to come out a bit rushed and I have to cut some stuff I'd normally throw in there (like aforementioned hat and other references). A lot of the "hey guys, nice to see you again" catch ups in the final showdown were a little more ham fisted than I hoped for. Just wanted to keep it moving for everybody really.

Or this.
Seriously, my entire worry in this game was that it was too easy. We found the entire scumteam with days to spare, so I was seriously worried that they had a sixth that we didn't suspect at all. |

Guys I didn't do very well. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

If anyone else was watching post counts they would have noticed a change in Rob and my posting pattern around mid-game ;) | A lesson without pain is meaningless. That would've been incredible. I wanted to go with that a little on henry but...it was henry. I can only give what I work with.
I really wish Rob would have drawn that role. Because that would've been an incredible twist ending. Again henry no offense, you just weren't really into it.
When it comes to writing flavour, I have to write based on how much people give me to work with. Some people are interesting to write, others not. Sadly with a cast of 19 or so it's hard to fit everybody in big scenes and keep it from being huge walls of text, especially with the ongoing narrative I was trying to tell on top of it all.
Rob just gave some incredible journal entries that made for a really compelling character arc. It was a breeze to write it. Helios was one of my main go tos because of aforementioned murderous rage too.

I felt the scum were pretty bad. I expected someone with voice to be evil which is why I was sketch balls of Boc and Ari. Maybe it was just the game. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Also I'd like to give a seriously decent shout-out to Dutchiee at this point. If we don't include that one mafia I hosted that I never speak of (I dare anybody to speak of it for me. I HAVE BANHAMMER AT THE READY), this is Dutchiee's first game with our community and it wasn't half bad by any stretch of the imagination.
So genuine kudos there.
