I tried Lovecraft Letter recently and it's REALLY fun. Basically the same as the original but Lovecraft-themed (obv) and there's a bit more complexity. Throughout the game you receive 'insanity' cards which will turn you insane if you play enough of them, which is riskier (since it can kill you eventually) but also grants you better abilities on certain cards. Still an overall simple game but gives you a bit more to think about. We should play it on TTS sometime if it's on there

I have seen Lovecraft letter but haven't played it. Sounds like a nice addition

How is Cash 'n Guns btw? That's another one I've been considering, sounds fun

Really good fun. Probably one of the better party games for people that are not really into games. If you play it don't give out the guns to people before explaining the rules. It descends into madness.

Dead last is more sophisticated if you have more than 6 people.

oh yeah! dead last is really fun. like survivor on roids.

I'd list my games but as some of you have seen my BBPE Cribs video, it would take awhile to catalog them.

The games I've played a lot most recently with the fam are:

Pandemic Cthulhu
Munchkin Cthulhu
Munchkin Adventure Time
Guillotine (fun WotC card game)
Cults Across America
Assassin (the awesome early 80s version which is like Monopoly except instead of buying/selling property you are buying and selling stuff like drugs, munitions, plutonium, etc. You also don't win with the most money, you win by using your money to hire assassins to kill the other players)

We used to do Beer and Boardgames nights where we'd get a bunch of friends together to drink and play games. First one we tried to play the BSG board game, but it was a bit complex for drinking and playing- it took us an hour and a half just to get through the rules. We hit 2:30 in the morning before we hit the halfway point in the game.

Next time we went for simpler games like Zombies!!! One of the nights, we decided to use the various sets to create a large rough map of DC, put a Washington Monument salt shaker in the middle, then had everyone pick where in the outside they were starting. First person to make it to the middle won.

And this is the beer that was "leftover" after everyone had been drinking all night. This is what happens when you supply beer and then your friends all bring a ton of beer:

You should try Arkham Horror the card game. Sounds like you would live it to death.
