I loved each time the camera pushed in real close on a character's face and you could tell exactly what they were thinking, like Sonne during the piano scene |
Yea definitely. Sonne and Victoria were really great at wearing their emotions on their faces. It really partnered well with the shooting style of the whole movie.

Biggest blindside of the movie was when Sonne asked her how much she made for a living
I was like DAMN Sonne! | |

I voted 7.
Really cool movie, didn't even really mind the slow beginning or total length (but I did watch half last night and half today so that may be a factor)
BUT. Victoria is an absolute idiot, totally agree about being frustrated when characters don't take an easy way out of a shitty situation. When you emphatically decide to stay and help commit an armed bank robbery with people you just met and for no real gain, I lose just about all sympathy for you and whatever happens to you.
Missed the peen sadly, may have to rewatch.

I wanna bump my vote up from 7 to 8. Sorry Brian, it’s not you
The more I thought about the movie yesterday the more I liked it. I’ve rewatched the piano scene a handful of times now, the acting is too good. Dialogue throughout the whole movie was improvised by the actors which really helped sell it

Um you underestimate the power of poor self esteem, lots of people would probably rob a bank if a guy told them he thought they were cool. | nav is ugly and i am pretty |

I guess I do underestimate its power because I find that very difficult to believe

To be fair she was also pretty fucked up throughout the whole movie. She was drunk from the start and did coke later on (before making her worst decisions)
But things like her laughing when they stole the van and her going back to steal the peanuts were pretty telling of her character. And the way she handled the baby situation was
They made it pretty clear that she was a loner/loser too, she talked about that during the piano scene. And she was alone in a new city working a shit paying job for three months with 0 friends, at a club alone etc. They were maybe the first people to take any interest in her
These are all excuses to justify her bad choices but I think they added enough there to at least make an effort to explain it. I thought it worked even if I did wanna shake her her whole movie
Then there’s also her connection to Sonne which is a whole other thing and depends on whether or not you buy that people could become fairly attached in a short amount of time

I guess after one shot of tequila, everyone is my best friend so I can't fault her too much.

6/10
Liked it but didn't get super into it. Liked the scenes you guys mentioned, especially the baby scene. Didn't know about the one take thing, that is pretty cool.
Blinker was the dude. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

7/10
normally I'd give it a 6 but the one shot / no cuts really intrigued me throughout the whole thing so 7 it is.
I think the chemistry between Victoria and Sonne was believable and despite them knowing eachother less than a day it seemed like they were long time lovers by the end of the movie
I thought for sure the movie would end with Victoria going to prison. (When the final guy died I thought oh that's definitely it) So it would be a movie about a girl's poor decision in one night that resulted in her life lost (In a non death sense) for no good reason. And that she would take all the blame for it. But they just had her walking off and idk what to think of the ending. back to the coffee shop!!!!!

I agree and this is the part I lost any emotion involving "I feel bad for her"
Before that I thought she was sweet and innocent. I guess she was just very desperate for friends

I mean if we think about this movie objectively, she gets to keep every last penny of that $50,000.
