Voting appropriately suited people for challenges to generate OC for whatever it is we're doing is fun. Purposely voting people who clearly aren't suited to auto eliminate them or whatever ruins the fun and spirit of the game. The last two NYABBPE were littered with a ton of memorable content and moments because of that. We try to have a mixture of audio challenges, video challenges, graphically inclined challenges, and random challenges that suit a wide range of people. We definitely have "video people" in mind when we do challenges like this. Some people surprise us and do it, but JJ has made it so clear so many times that she does not intend to show her face or involve her personal life here. I got ripped apart for putting her picture in Members Mafia. And for the record, I am by no means defending everyone who doesn't want to participate. Some are definitely a case of pissy pants temper tantrums and that blows. But some are absolutely justified, such as in the case of an upcoming surgery, family emergency or not wanting to show faces/hear voices.

What if the final challenge is just posting a picture of your face. If there are things you absolutely refuse to do no matter what because you're obsessed with anonymity you shouldn't be playing. An anonymous mod is even scarier than someone like Chris.

And you podcast and skype call, so you're already good with the audio stuff. You don't have to show everything in your house. And I think you would be a fine mod and people will definitely vote for you...probably even if you sent a video of nothing at all. Not saying you have to, just throwing out a suggestion and hopefully boosting confidence. :X

I appreciate that, Bryce. It's not really about confidence, just privacy and the spirit of this comp imo. I was willing to get elim'd for not being able to participate but some people are just being really immature and trying to cause conflict. It's not fun anymore. I'm also not great technically, despite all my Skype Tech Support experience. :P
