Yeah I thought he was bullshitting on his read there tbh, I think he was always gonna play it on himself and was just saving face with Desi about reading Ashley

That was a strong episode. Good balance with editing for each tribe and, even though the challenges were kind of boring, it was an intense ending.

Seemed early to use an idol. I feel like he should have saved it, but I'm sure he can find an idol next week.

Yea I kinda wanted to see him miss and see how it would play out, but this was good TV. I don't think he was completely bullshitting, I think there was some doubt in his eyes and face when he was up there. Not sure if it's that smart for them to go for Alan vs Ashley in that spot cuz if they go to tribal again they're coin flipping with fire/rocks. Devon would prob flip but still.

Jeez I woulda came so hard from that.
The outrage from both casuals and hardcore fans would be enormous, maybe enough for them to stop doing these garbage advantages/twists.
