Watched the first ep of S12, thought it was meh Any good episodes to look forward to?

Season 12 sucks, a few ok ones sprinkled in there

Someone tell me about the production of the show. Did it get rocky at the end there? Did they break and come back or did someone wanna leave it or wut. Isn’t it coming back for a new season?

The last few (seasons 10-12) the show is finally starting to decline, but there's usually at least 1-2 gems per season still

Dennis leaves at the end of the last aired episode cuz Howerton wants to take on other projects. It's unclear whether it's permanent or not but at the very least he's taking a break The show's renewed for S13/14 already tho

Water Park and Cricket's episode were also solid

Season 13 started last night. It's back!

S13E1:

Easily one of the worst episodes the show has ever done. Ha ha Mac is gay and has a sex doll....That was why we left on a cliffhanger with Mac leaving? Was the juice really worth the squeeze? The waitress as a main characters doesn't remotely work, she wasn't funny and she didn't add anything to the show. The show relying more on these characters is a bad sign of its decline. And the indian chic who's the dennis replacement...like what? What was the fucking point of that. She's not funny and she didn't add anything to the show. A lot of the jokes didn't land and it was all about that stupid sex doll which is fine at first but when you keep shoving it in the viewer's faces it starts to get annoying. Hopefully the show gets back on track with Dennis back and they can crank out some funny ones but yikes, this episode was really bad

I agree that it wasn't one of their best episodes. Glenn Howerton had left presumably to be in his other show/do other things. That didn't work out I guess, so he came back. His name didn't appear in the opening credits and he wasn't in the episode until the end, so they wanted to make it seem like he was gone. The sex doll just being around them all the time after Mac introduced it was kind of funny. I didn't mind Mindy Kaling as Dennis' replacement in the gang, especially since it wasn't going to be permanent. And it looked like she was good for the group too, but then Dennis shows up and they drop her for him, and he's probably the worst thing for everyone, and they'll go back to their usual habits/routines, which is good for us and the show.

Escape Room episode was actually pretty good, best episode of the season so far

will have to watch that soon. I was looking forward to it just based on the synopsis.

The fact that they don't even understand the point of the escape room is what is so hilarious.

OK. Episode 3 was my favourite so far. It's the ladies' time to shine in their own episode. And it's funny. We know Kaitlin Olson can carry her own show (even if The Mick got canceled), so this was fun and different. Maybe this was filmed while Glenn Howerton was away because he wasn't in it at all.

He's probably not in the next one too then based on the production codes

Episode 4 felt like a classic episode. The role-playing part made me laugh out loud.
