We had some commentary on the mafia board thats visible to everyone now, If I have anymore thoughts that come I'll post them when I do actions and HOF/HOL. Christian and I would go back and forth between the mafia forum and just a PM, especially when zach died lol mafia was just an unused forum at that point.

My thoughts on the mafia are this:

They didn't work as a unit at all. And they deserved to lose. :P
Ahoda was the only one submitting actions for the team.
When he died, Zachary stepped up to the plate to make the team's decisions.
When he died, it fell to Brian to have to make the decisions.

My thoughts on the SK:

I know Stephen is new to Mafia, so I'll be nice. lol But I was so annoyed that he wasn't killing every night. The role was included to up the body count, and the game seemed to drag on partly because of him deciding to no kill the first two nights, plus some others later in the game.

My thoughts on the Ninja kill going through on the Whistle Blower:

It was seriously something we discussed and decided before the game started, but expected to have a 1% chance of actually happening... LOL
There really was no other option. The Gotcha Dancers would stop someone who tried to visit DS. But Zach's Ninja role said he'd be completely invisible and undetected, so since the Gotcha Dancers wouldn't "see" him, they didn't stop the kill from happening. That was the one instance where the Ninja kill would have become an unstoppable kill basically.

My thoughts on the game:

Jamie put a lot of effort into the set-up and the different roles. I loved his idea for the Chaos team (wanted to see them win along with whatever other faction won the game) and that there was no odd-night vig. The janitor role wiping out the reveal for Curtis, allowing for a Mafia member to potentially claim his role as their own. I liked the possibilities for the Tom Haverford role to become Mafia, or join the Third Party or to become Masons with one of the Town Vanilla roles. But none of that came to be. Same with the gifts that Angi could have given out, the big one was the daykill, that was wasted because it couldn't be delivered to its recipient because they left town for the night. A lot of the roles or things that were planned that had potential fizzed out, which was disappointing, but out of our control. However, the Nurse actually saved a couple of people, which was nice to see. This is all I can think of off the top of my head.

But thanks to all who played whether you had fun or you didn't. :P

this is why SKers are often forced to kill, or depending on the flavor you might say they are compelled to kill. that way you don't have to worry about the balance you worked so hard to set up being broken by a SKer choosing not to kill.

well, the wording of the role did say "you will send yourself out each night to kill someone", so that pretty much implied there was no choice. But there was some miscommunication.

I had a great time- despite DS pulling vendetta stuff on my chaos partner. My targets kept getting killed before I could lynch them until finally I got Kiwi lynched, then got brian for the second target. Only to have Stephen (I assume) kill me that night. :( So close, yet so far.

Why did angi lose her gift though? Her action failed so she should have been able to regift it.

I'm still salty about DS, and will never trust him again.

1) Nobody actually believes that.

2) Even if it *was* random, you should have realized that it would look bad and decided on doing a second "randomization".

I work for a Big 4 firm. We have independence rules that seem overly stupid at times, but the point is to avoid anyone coming in and accusing the audit team of going easy because there is a business relationship between someone at the firm and the company being audited. Half a moment of self-realization would have shown you that this would look bad.

1) I dont actually care what anyone wishes to believe about a situation that involves my personal judgment and something I know to be the truth. It WAS random, regardless of what you wish to believe. I can't change your perception of MY reality, you do you boo.

2) I honestly didnt even remember that Spin had pulled some crazy shit on me until you guys started mentioning it. I dont hold grudges like that.

3) Like I said, it was a random split second decision in an attempt to get scum to target me and be outed. Didnt work, but I'd posit that killing a scum player and getting the mafia to use their ninja kill was worth it. I am sorry that Mittens got caught up in the crossfire though. My bad dude!
