So I had a theory that I tested out last night but it didn't pan out. My role is the showgirl. I dance and it becomes a distraction and the person cannot complete their action. Two nights ago, I tried it on rose, but she was "too tired" and I did not dance for her. Merc said he was attacked and didn't die, so I had a theory that the people in the duel had an automatic RB of all actions against them.
I decided to test it on DS, since attempting on Ahoda who didn't have a night action wouldn't prove anything and blocking DS's message wouldn't hurt town any. Unfortunately, it looks like he was blocked, so I can't explain why Rose was too tired or why Merc says he survived an attack.
I noted earlier in the game that I was leaning town on Curt- that was because I had danced for him N1 and he obviously wasn't a killer. This was also why I came down hard on IM317- because I knew he had been danced for and there was one less kill.
You'll note that D3 when the dancer was referred to, I indicated that we shouldn't have any more claims; a subtle reference to my role.

My guess for my tiredness is that it's because of the duel. In my flavor I was pretty pissy about losing again, which led right into the knock on my door.
It's POSSIBLE it was role or roleblock related but I don't think so? And if it was I don't fully understand why. | d ( i n o s r o a ) r
