Yeah, we mostly run secondary accounts for the characters. I play as Dawn Saunders the sassy tiefling thief always up to no good |
She has only been attacked by her own party members 3 or 4 times |

Up and Vanished is great. I mean great. I’m having withdrawals now because I can’t find anything else like it. Atlanta Monster is supposed to be the follow up but I’m letting it finish out before I start it. I hate waiting a week for another episode.
S-Town is pretty good. But you get no closure really. Plus I actually live fairly close to where this happened and it’s all too real for me. Lol.
True crime garage is ok. It’s good for learning about famous cases. Most are 2 or 3 episodes long.
Murder on the Cape is good. It’s not very long.
American History Tellers is very good. They do one on The Cold War and one on Prohibition. About 8 hours worth each. They tell the story from a different perspective. It’s very well done.

UaV and S-Town are two of the big ones I've finished. Good shit. I'm doing the same as you with Atlanta Monster

I'm listening to Carter Thomas' Coin Mastery podcast, trying to figure out what his whole cryptocurrency thing is all about.
Also listening to the Privacy Advisor podcast, from the IAPP, trying to learn about the privacy and data protection sector to grow my practice into that area.
I do enjoy story-style podcasts:
-It's Alive is great. zombie survival story
-Edict Zero is a solid podcast - science fiction detective style series
-Ars Paradoxica is a fictional story about time travel, and its use in WW2 and other CIA style stuff
-The Leviathan Chronicles is pretty good. It's about immortality.
-The Once and Future Nerd is solid. It's a fantasy podcast where a group of high school kids get transported into a fantasy world.
-Audio Epic's Witch Hunter is really good.
I've listened to Serial (the Adnan one) and liked it. Crimetown was okay, but didn't really keep my attention.
For the fantasy football nerds, like me, listen to The Fantasy Footballers podcast during the season. It's solid.

Those story style ones sound cool and I need a new one. Which do you recommend from that batch?

You hated something so much that you spent 6 hours on it? How many condoms did you snort yesterday? |
