I've made it through Part 4 now and I'm starting to wonder why every episode has to end with a band at the Roadhouse (aka the Bang Bang Club). And the bands get worse every time.
And with Naomi Watts clearly not playing the same role she had in Mulholand Drive, my hopes for a grand unified Lynchian universe coming through in TP is shattered.
And the Wally Brando shit was so annoying I had to fast forward through it to keep my sanity.

Well, for instance, there are issues with the timing of the "birth of Bob" scene, given he's supposed to be a dark force that always existed. Some have argued that it was just him "escaping" but that doesn't match up with the big baby thing that was vomiting out everything in the nuclear explosion.
The giant and the fat chick sending Laura to Earth to go against Bob makes very little sense, given the timing (Laura wouldn't be born for quite some time and, if anything, she almost got possessed by Bob. I wouldn't say defying Bob made her some anti-Bob agent of the White Lodge.
The dirty dark guys who came and "saved" doppleganger Cooper haven't appeared before except for the alley guy in Mullholland Drive. | | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |
