It's over four hours, and supposedly only 30 minutes of that was actually in Justice League, so that also means the large majority of what we've seen already won't be in this. Fairly interested to see how this turns out. If nothing else, it'll look really good (WW1984's scuffed cgi has me somewhat skeptical, though)

I...ended up watching it

it was...ok! Better than I expected in most areas, just as bad as I expected in some. The Joker scene was the worst part by far, plz don't let Leto play that part again. The Flash (and almost any other time they attempted humor) was pretty cringey too. But other than that...! Action was well-done, conflict was generic but fine. To its credit it felt p breezy for a 4 fucking hour long movie

I heard it was good so I'm going to watch it on HBO later.

I was told that the quality on HBO wasn't the best though.

I've actually heard some good stuff also but between the tourney and bsg i don't know when I'll have time

Just saw it - far from perfect, but so much better than the original, in my opinion.

Think the only things I can really bitch about are the bad CGI and music choices in several scenes, and then some of the writing and jokes sucked. No idea why they decided to replace Wonder Woman's theme with the same loop of annoying Amazon screaming, and then have it play every single time she's on screen. A couple specific scenes felt like they came out of nowhere, but I guess there's only so much you can do with the pre-existing footage. I think those in general should have just been part of other movies, like the Iris West crash scene, but I still enjoyed seeing them here. Other than that stuff, almost everything I disliked from the original got yeeted, and then they added in some neat fan service and character development. Enjoyed the moment between Arthur and Barry where he's trying on different hats. All of the Alfred scenes were perfect. Wish WB would spend more than $100 on their CGI budgets, but overall pretty solid.

yes @ the Wonder Woman theme thing. Her main(?) theme with the electric guitar riff is actually great, no idea why they decided to switch over to the cringey chants instead. Much less seemingly EVERY time she was on screen

definitely a massive improvement over the first one and quite the enjoyable experience for anyone whos remotely a DC fan

agreed with Boc about the joker scene that was horrible and i really wanted to just stop watching but thankfully i didnt

because it leads into the absolutely amazing martian manhunter cameo that was such a great scene to end on. Martian Manhunter was a huuuuge part of the original JL animated series in the 90s and it was a nice hat tip to that show

So agree, this is a much better film. Slow motion scenes set to sad music are about 20% of the movie so that helps explain the expanded time. So I could never watch this whole thing in a movie theater. But at home, with a break, it was pretty good i'll admit. I like the expanded storylines for Cyborg and Flash. They don't seem as just thrown in as before. Liked seeing Martian Manhunter although i'm not sure why they crammed him in here. I think i enjoyed the last battle scene here more than the other as well. I still hate that Superman is the end all be all, but that's either film. I kept wondering why he needs anyone else. Despite the length, movie kinda flowed nicely still. I never thought I would say it but i enjoyed this one. The epliogue was needless, and shoehorning Joker in there was a waste. What's his face still sucks as Lex. Did tease some interesting stuff that will never come to pass. I think I noticed the acting in this one more, not sure why. But i like each person, and felt it was a good job done in their roles. So overall, was pretty good. Loads better than the first try.

I love him btw. The epilogue with him was cool, the scene in the middle felt kinda weird
