To me, I think there can be valid questions for people who have played on GLB that have come over here and played games, simply because how things are done can affect a person's reads/thoughts. This holds true based on mods sometimes, as some people do things differently when they mod, so I think to ask a question related specifically to the game such as "Is this how it is normally done over here" is okay, and as long as the question gets answered civilly without taking the question as an attack, then there should be no issue.

If it's a question of game dynamics, I'd imagine a PM to the Mod would work better than doing it in the game thread.
