He got lucky that his tribe is his alliance. Drag Rodney and Dan along for an easy mil. And trying to get rid of his biggest competition Joe, you can't really blame him.
I had hopes for Dan but they were diminished fully this episode.
I really dislike Dan as well but Hali leaving actually surprised me which I tend to enjoy. I thought for sure it was going to be Shirin or Dan. I watched Hali's ponderosa and she's pretty cool. Also an interesting note is she was convinced Will was loyal to them and Shirin flipped. So Will is actually playing a more stealth game than it appears.
As for the rest of the cast Joe kind of grew on me. I liked him at the beginning then he dropped off the face of the Earth but he was cool this episode. Shirin is humorous too. Jenn is really the person who makes me root against that alliance. Wish Will would have gotten more facetime because as I said, he seems to actually not be playing that bad.
As boring as it would be I would love if the final four alliance of Tyler/Rod/Will/Carolyn was the final four. I don't mind Mike. He seems like a pretty cool guy. Hopefully Dan leaves soon though. His talk with Shirin in the water was way too long and way too awkward.
"So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I'm glad Joe won immunity, but I knew it likely meant that one his "minions" would go. I can't hate Mike, but I go back and forth on whether I like him or not. I wouldn't be upset if he won the game though. As long as it's not one of his blue collar cronies.
Still waiting for Tyler to be great. I'm sure if he and Carolyn stick with Blue, they've got some plan for Carolyn's idol, but now Mike's got one too, thanks to Tyler...

I literally cheered so much when Joe won. When he said he got it, I held my breath until Jeff said he got it, and then I put my fists in the air and started cheering. Haha, I love Joe and his alliance.
Totes sucks that Hali was voted out. I was also soo anticipating that Dan blindside, ughh that would have been the best blindside ever. I like it when the editing misleads us, but I don't like when the editing misleads us into thinking a hated castaway will be voted out and then doesn't do it. Cuz that's just cruel.
Dan is the most naïve guy ever. Him talking down to Shirin was stupid, and also his 'apology' to Sierra a couple episodes ago (when Sierra was still awesome) was also completely stupid. He's a hypocritical sexist asshole.
And I rolled my eyes when Mike started crying. Like... I can't even with him.
And yeah, like Matt said I love to hate Rodney. The guy is so unaware of everything, he's probably bipolar and is majorly hypocritical. But you can't help help but to love everytime he does shit like that, because for some reason Rodney cracks me up with everything he says, because it's just so simpleminded and naive, that it's just funny. Y'know.
