So was Dean talking to "voices" when he walked out of the cabin and said "oh shut up, i tried" or to patti or kevin? Eerily similar to Kevin Sr's line and delivery.

What a great finale/first season
I like that they didn't pack the finale with shit, instead they spent a lot of time with their big moments. The Kevin/Wayne scene was my favorite, especially the 'granted' line. The Jill scream, fire, Kevin reading the passage, Nora in the kitchen, Nora's letter. All were really great. And that MUSIC! So good

Watched the first two episodes. Not bad
|
Biggest complaint right now would be some of the acting. Jill and her friend suck (though half of that has been their dialogue). And I've never been a Liv Tyler fan tbh
Really liking Tom/Warboy so far though. And Ann Dowd's solid as always
I'm liking how there's all these weird ideologies and they're pretty much entirely unexplained. I assume that's what's got most people frustrated, and if they don't explain any of it by the end of the season I guess I can see that. But for now I'm liking that the show doesn't spoonfeed everything to you
I fucking hate the dog killer. The dog spontaneously getting shot in the first episode made me more upset than any movie/TV I've seen in a while. I really hope the police chief takes the opportunity to take his ass down since he'll know exactly where he's gonna be now. But it seems like he's gonna join him in his dog killing spree for whatever reason
I really don't understand why Liv Tyler's character is with the Guilty Remnant? Like one minute she was being stalked and harassed by them, and suddenly she wants to join them? I'm really curious if there's an explanation for that. She didn't even seem to want to be there until she started chopping down that tree, and that was WEEKS after she joined. Why the hell would she stick around for so long?
I'm kinda upset that he actually found that bagel at the end (: I dunno why, but I really wanted it to have just disappeared with no explanation |

through episode 6 now
|
- lol the magic hug. What?
- I hate the dog killer's face so much
- Episode 5 was probably the best yet. That stoning scene was genuinely hard to watch. And Ann Dowd kills every scene she's in. The scenes in the restaurant with her and Laurie were great
- Was the guy from the FBI really suggesting that he'd mass murder the entire Guilty Remnant? wat
- WHERE'S TOMMY!
I saw the S2 teaser before the GOT finale. The setting seems p interesting. Not gonna spoil it for myself by reading anything about it but it seems like it'll be a separate storyline from the first season then? Maybe like a True Detective-esque anthology |

episode 8

rip patti. I think she was definitely the standout character from this season
Really good ending overall. Honestly a lot of the dialogue on this show annoys me, but they stepped it up pretty well in that scene. Glad that there was FINALLY some insight into what the Guilty Remnant hope to achieve, although it's still fairly murky
Did the GR break in and steal all those clothes? HOW? Did they steal them when they took the pictures? (Speaking of which, how the hell did they not get thrown in jail for breaking & entering. Pretty serious crime! Especially when you throw in burglary on top of it. I don't think there's been an explanation for that)
I guess I know where Simp's avatar is from now (: I honestly had no idea that was Jill until I saw the episode. Speaking of which she decided to act out and join mommy's cult oh joy. She's so annoying |

Haha yay! Glad you caught on. Surprised it took you this long to get through it. I feel like you're always on the up and up for critically acclaimed shows. Hopefully the sophomore seasons of Leftovers and True Detective don't disappoint. But as they say lightning rarely strikes twice.
