Are we talking unpopular opinions around the world, your surroundings or just on this website?

Marriage should be totally segregated from religion. Marriage should be between consenting people (2,3,4,5,10000000) that want to have a financial bond between them. Is there a point to marriage other than financial security? If you are not married and you suddenly die without a will, your partner(s) get nothing right? Just children/family.

Abusing (like corruption) in a position of power should be punishable by life in prison. Taking a bribe or "donation" for doing something while in public office should also be punishable by life in prison, fined for your entire paycheck you received while in office and you should never be able to run again. Every lie you are caught in should be fined a years wage, possible expulsion from the job depending on severity.

Companies found guilty of breaking health regulations, human rights or anything jeopardizing the future of this planet(global warming, destruction of the ozone etc) repeatedly should have all of their assets seized and used to the betterment of society.

False advertising should be punishable by more than a years profit.

Higher fines and punishment for fraud

Higher taxes on companies, lower taxes on people. Whatever these CEO´s tell us, companies are not the job creators. The flow of wealth between people and companies is the job creator. Companies will try their best to have as few people working for them and try and cut as much as they can. If people spend more = more jobs are created to try and meet the demand.

Not everyone should go to university / collage. Many people go there to get shit degrees and only gain stupidly high student loans. The bottom third should go learn a trade.

The government should not support things relating to entertainment. Money should only be spent on health care, education. Things that benefit everyone. Not downpayment on music or shit like that. This would mean lower taxes > people can pay for their own entertainment.

While I agree with a lot of what you said Ari, I don't think you can say companies are not job creators. Your argument is circular too regarding spending more....

My unpopular opinions:

- Incest should be legal (although I think it is completely wrong/disgusting).

- One I have thought of recently... Marriage should be for Christians. I am not religious but it seems wrong that non-Christians get "married".

- Tax systems which are less harsh on the rich should be used.

- This whole "rehabilitation" myth for criminals. Longer sentences needed (esp in my country).

- Bush wasn't as bad a president as everyone makes him out to be.

- Welfare/UE benefit systems are just too generous (at least in NZ).

- Living during a zombie apocalypse would be fun.

- Black/minorities who cry at the first sign of racism but are constantly racist themselves (and get away with it).

Definitely more...

Oh and I hate this politically correct world we live in. People are too sensitive.

Also another:

- Kristoff wasn't as bad as everyone made him out to be.

- Euthanasia should be legal.

I dislike when people view LGBT and Christians as completely different armies in the war of marriage or whatever. I see both sides of the argument but there IS a thing called separation of church and state that this country was sort of founded on sooo...

Unpopular? opinion: fat people cost too much and should be fat-taxed proportionate to how overweight they are. Arguments about muh genetics and muh thyroid are dismissed as lies. There is more health and nutrition information out there free than at any time in human history. Nobody else should have to pick up the tab for fat fucks because they didn't bother to eat healthy and exercise.
