Their personalities meshed so well. Each of them were hilarious. (Gamora was the only "non comical character" but you need a character like that for balance. Plus her reactions to the rest were A+) | |

Just saw this.
Uh, very good. A+. Would do business with again.
Would've preferred if it had entirely avoided the standard Marvel Cinematic Universe trappings, but I guess that is just part of the contract. The fact that it was able to do so for 95% of the runtime made the few little bits that were a bit hackneyed or for the sake of the larger franchise stand out a bit more... Could've done without the love story... The midichlorians-esque justification with the Infinity Stone near the end was particularly blah. Kind of killed the vibe. Overall, though, I felt like it was on par with Iron Man 3 in being a significant step above everything else Marvel has put out.

i didnt wanna get up. i couldnt focus. it was the WORST. I was like mentally checked out the entire battle. I had to cave during a big final scene where Star Lord grabbed the purple thing. Longest bathroom run of my life |
That happened to me during The Dark Knight, I had to go right when the Joker set up the boat scenario. Luckily I watched it again in IMAX a couple weeks later.

I saw this in IMAX 3D by the way... definitely the first movie in a while that I've wanted to see again right after the movie ended. | --------------------
