I don't like that you feel that way, but I understand that it doesn't look great how little information there is on my role. I guess what I would put to you is what would me claiming my role change other than giving up information to either of the scum factions. It's clear I'm not mafia. You can only really see me as town or cult. And my role won't confirm that I haven't been recruited. It's a role that I don't think benefits town to be revealed or I would've revealed it days and days ago.

If Rose wants me to claim my role, I will, but I really, really think that only benefits those who don't want town to win. Once you are aware of my role, you will agree.

But if you think I'm the recruiter, how do my actions on D1 and D2 track with me recruiting Rodney when he was one of my top scumspects (lol when he was still town) and then I was all over him the day he got lynched picking apart any sort of claims he could make to get Christian's vote going anywhere else. I didn't think it was possible for there to be two mason groups, it made no sense with how many that could clear, and cult was the last thing I thought. I thought Rodney would flip mafia.

I remember spending most of that day trying to get Rodney to get his mason recruiter to out themselves, lol, hoping to catch two birds with one stone if they did try something so bold. My assumption being Rodney was scum and whoever would come forward as his mason recruiter would then also be scum.

I've felt stargate was scum since d2. His vote d4. And process of elimination. I feel stargate, Jamie, and jed is the recruiter. In that order

aside from scum read why specifically stargate as specifically the recruiter? because i can see a scum argument but im not sold on stargate as recruiter

thing is i think you might be cult recruiter. and as for Rodney we see now Herm had a redirect action, plus there is Jed's nexus claim. i get not wanting to claim but right now i have you as either cult recruiter or town so a claim would help sure up which of those you are

huh, im the opposite. i can see recruiter but not other scum. no claim and not part of the Farlig vote. there is an outside chance its Jed with a super small chance of Ahoda but if seems to be either Jamie or Stargate to me. and its starting to look more like Jamie with Ahoda having been recruited

If I was the cult recruiter I'd make up a believable claim and give it to you. I'm not and I haven't been recruited. That's all I feel comfortable saying about my role. I was the first one in the game to even bring up that I was roleblocked/delayed, outing that I had a visiting role. This was after Tib's Voyeur, Badger's role that had a 1-shot watcher, and Reaper's town tracker role had all already flipped. I feel like if I was the cult recruiter a claim like Jed's nexus or Jamie's commuter role makes more sense over admitting to having a visiting role and then saying nothing more. The recruiter wouldn't want to bring unnecessary attention by clamming up.

heres the issue

we have 8 alive.

5 nights, 2 cult down, 3 mafia dead

we started with 18, thats probably 4 or 5 mafia to start, so 1 or 2 remain.

so thats 6 or 7 non-mafia remaining

one recruiter, 5 nights to recruit, 2 down. Might be about 4 mafia left unless something caused them to miss a night, which seems pretty possible, so we'll say 3-4 cult.

so right now, town is probably somewhere between 2-4. Maybe higher if there was some luck behind the scenes but... if im being honest, if i was able to be recruited that's what i would want rn. It's not possible tho so i'm gonna try to keep hope alive and not just act like i'm playing kingmaker here. gonna fight for town as long as i can


So, stargate's been a big scum read for me for a while but in a way that can also read as pretty earnest town. But as far as cult goes I think Stargate's been P CONSISTENTLY doing the opposite of what they would want. I really don't see it. And the scumminess of stargate only coming up now and in a context of cult when we know we need to get cult... it just feels like cult trying to get the last lynch in

also, i gotta say i'm not sold the mafia knew who the recruiter was. I think it's really fucking stupid of them to have kept whoever it was alive when they had an unstoppable kill on their hands. I'd assume a delay would not have stopped it, so what the hell.

This makes me think Recruiter Jaime is a guess, not a genuine knowledge, same with them thinking Kat was recruited and presumably going after her because of it. I don't think they know anything more than i do about the cult.

Rose, im317, if from this post forward you start posting about how you view me as town, and you put me in the town bucket with Rose, kevin me up, everything, and if you're town with me, we can win the game. I firmly believe that. But if you keep suspecting me and making it feel like one day scum can get a mislynch on me, bah. I am town. I've not been recruited. I'm not the recruiter. I think it's Jamie or Jed, and if not them then Ahoda. It just feels like Jamie and Jed's things are something a cult recruiter could have to avoid them insta-dying N1 or N2. I keep forgetting what Ahoda has claimed.

And why I bring up the kevin thing, if we get this lynch wrong, I am town and can still be recruited. But maybe as Kevin I can't be. That's my hope. Mafia and town should want that as a fail safe in case the one we lynch isn't the cult recruiter. Because mafia can't be recruited, Rose can't be, but I still can be.

i have a feeling Ahoda has been culted and is trying to divert this lynch to Stargate to spare his leader. i wonder what else he has been doing to mess with things.

That's really all I can think of. I have no clue which of the three is the cult recruiter. Mafia could've been guessing with Jamie. Or they could have seen them visiting someone when they don't have a visiting role. Mafia seems to have been able to kill last night. So the delaying of JJ the night before didn't stop mafia from killing tonight. Maybe JJ didn't go for the kill the night prior?

I'm pretty unsure between Jamie and Jed for my vote, Rose. Shadow and 317 have gone Jamie. JJ thought Jamie and by extension the mafia team did. Do you have a strong argument for us doing Jed or Ahoda instead, or should we just go with Jamie? That's where I'm leaning.
