For the record, Venus is a terrestrial planet that you can theoretically walk on. I actually think it's a better answer for 50 years our than Mars which is much closer. I thought about putting it but was afraid of being a fox and it affected my answer lol |
Sure, it's a terrestrial planet, but the average temperature on the surface of Venus is over 850 degrees F (or over 450 degrees C for our smarter international friends). I believe NASA has struggled to get rovers/probes down to the Venutian surface because of the heat.

That said, it'd be pretty cool to see what the surface even looked like.

I actually buy Nav's celebrity answer though.

Eh the question doesn't say anything about us colonizating or even putting a man on the planet. The soviets had rovers on venus in the 80s. We technically went to saturn recently when we had that close flyby and crashed the probe into its atmosphere

I interpreted the question as manned mission, but not necessarily landing on the planet.

Nav, what's your favorite candle scent? |
It's called vanilla and sea salt by a company called WoodWick. It was a house warming gift

Also, everyone tell why you would want to be that celebrity for a day. |
I just picked a celebrity married to one of my celeb crushes. Natalie Portman's husband isn't a celeb so he was out
|
This. I think Natalie is perfect. I'd love to be her for a day.

That being said I wouldn't expect Nav to defend me if he was a fox. Maybe he just couldnt help himself with Meghan Markle |
When did I defend you | |

FTR I hate dogs and wouldn't want any pets. Since Buffostess wouldn't accept a null answer I just named the first thing that came to mind

I've been looking for a while but no. This candle just smells way too good for me to consider actually burning it

So the planets one sticks out to me because Mars is literally the only correct answer. Venus will take many hundreds to thousands of years to be eligible for visitation and even then it would need to be like a Cloud City situation. Too hot. Mercury? No lol. Think of the Futurama episode where Fry and Amy visit it... not even that much of a stretch it's SO close to the sun, never happening for humans.. Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Neptune don't have surfaces to visit. Maybe a Jupiter or Saturn moon in the distant future.

Maybe we'll develop a Varia Suit and faster space travel in the next 45 years
