I liked it more when they were friends.

I like how Lindsey won "a slight advantage" for that immunity challenge, which was untying 5 less knots at each station than everyone else. That's not a slight advantage, especially when Jeff was selling it as a big advantage, but I'm glad it evened out in the end.

I guess I'm in the minority but I really hated Maryanne winning this and winning in a blowout no less. Didn't think she deserved that at all. I loved Mike a lot though so I'm biased, he was my Day 1 favorite and his story was so fun to follow. I was really hoping he'd win and after winning the fire making against Jonathan, I thought for sure he would. Deep down, I knew he was losing because the edit spelled out him having a bad FTC and coming up short. This cast was VERY good for the most part and I liked pretty much everyone at the merge, which really made this F3 so bizarre as I just saw Maryanne and Romeo as floaters the whole time.

As disappointed as I am with the end, this was a really enjoyable season. The twists/advantage overloads definitely suck but going into the season already knowing they were happening kind of dampened my annoyance by them I suppose. I do hope some of this shit is gone for good though. Do or Die and Hourglass gotta go. I see that Hourglass was not in 45 so I'm hopeful that is gone.

Hey by the way editors, showing people voting by writing down the common first letter of their name spoils who they are voting for. Obviously with Maryanne having a longer name than Mike, they're writing her name if they're starting at the end of the parchment. I'm pretty sure I've complained about this before multiple times but hey here I am again (:

im also a m*ryanne hater and ive blocked out this season from my memory bc she ended up winning. she was grating and annoying by episode 2

Very much the same! I've really enjoyed going through these and it's been fun being relatively unspoiled. I don't ever have the urge to rewatch seasons so watching this much Survivor in one go has been different. And it's definitely helped me realize some things that I never paid a ton of attention to, mainly being able to figure out what edits mean for someone's destination. I am sad I'm almost done and can't believe I got through that many seasons in that short amount of time. But binging definitely helped to dampen the effect of some of the "bad" seasons as I didn't have to wait a week at a time to be frustrated again. Unfortunately 43 is going to be my last unspoiled season as I'm about 99% sure I know who wins 44 just based off a weird name I haven't seen pop up yet that I'm fairly certain I've seen as a past winner.

Would not be opposed to watching Australian Survivor but we'll see. I'm actually tempted to binge through The Amazing Race after this. I haven't watched that since.... god, Uchenna and Joyce? The premier for the latest one started autoplayed after I finished the last episode of S45 and I actually enjoyed it
