Brad is great. The scene of him sprinting was so good. Naseer was good as well. I’m glad he seems to be in an okay spot.

I loved seeing everyone try to spell “Voce.”

Naseer had a good episode.

I felt like an old curmudgeon watching this episode, feeling like everything I didn't want to happen was about to happen.

Punishing someone for finding an advantage is weird for this show. No votes at all is so huge. It might make sense in a tribe of 8 players, but when it's tribes of 6 or 5, odd choice.

Curmudgeon thoughts:

Watching Tiff do the challenge was painful. Then the puzzle, the editors try to make it look close but you can see yellow has like a bajillion pieces on the side still in comparison to green. :lol:

Why are we doing the extra vote twist two weeks in a row? No!

I came out of this episode feeling like Evvie is not the greatest with strategy. First it was loose lips about Xandar's advantage stuff with the women and the other tribe. Then it was wanting Xandar out, who has the advantages and can use them with you for the tribe going forward, which he's said he wants to do, plus he appears to be the strongest competitor for them in the challenges, and Tiffany... no. Then Liana was saying the same stuff about wanting Xandar out, wanting to keep Tiffany even though she's saying to us she's a mess around camp and Liana is desperate for Evvie to come back to reign her in. Then Evvie goes and reveals the idol info to a random they've just met on the other tribe. And to top it off, tells him, you risk your vote, give your strong unlosing tribe more of an advantage over the rest of us in the future. It's such an org thing to do to try and curry favor with the majority without having spoken to anyone else or stopping for a second to think on the repercussions later on.

It feels like watching an org player who thinks they're doing awesome, and is just spilling way too much info to people and not able to keep things close to the chest.

Last episode it was Evvie telling us "Everyone loves Xandar" and how much she trusts him to tell the truth on things.

This episode Evvie says "Xandar really, really trusts me, and that's huge." ... Yeah, yeah. So why did half of this stuff even happen? It screams that Evvie just wanted an all female alliance, three tribe structure, small tribes, importance of immunity challenges, relationship with Voce and Xandar be damned or willfully pushed aside. Which I could get behind if Tiffany wasn't being shown as such a liability in things. And all the dodo music confessionals. They could literally never swap until merge. From a viewer's perspective it feels like not going forward with a Voce/Xandar/Evvie/Liana foursome spells doom for Evvie. They focused on that idea early on in the premiere as what Evvie thought was the smart thing to do.

Voce going over Tiffany, anyone going over Tiffany here, just bad gameplay. Voce seemed like someone who could've really had fun out there and done well in a different group.

Leaving Xandar in but taking out his closest ally... when he could activate his idol by next tribal.... Either go all in with Xandar or you have to take him out if you're Evvie or Liana here.

I wonder if Evvie's strategy now that they've thrown their lot in with keeping Tiff here should be to throw the next immunity challenge if they don't hear the idol phrases spoken, take out Xandar before he can idol one of them out, and if you lose again after that, Tiff goes. And then come merge/swap you can bounce between the two larger groups all season.

Voce was great such a shame
