The band of adventurers charged into the city of Brinebourne, charging through flames and smoke in the hunt for the vile Akmong Sus.

The Pack and The Northerners did what was in their nature. They helped people. The six dashed from alleyways to burning homes, lifting survivors from the rubble and escorting as many as they could to the front gate. They were defenseless against dragon attacks as they carried wounded townsfolk, causing some of the mischievous small dragons to free them of some gold, but the six were heralded as heroes for their decisions on that day.

Get Ready to Rok, Hell's Belles, and Ying Yang Yang helped in their preferred way. They took the battle to the dragons. Each trio charged through the city, weapons ready. The dragons were far weaker than Boghat, but their numbers seemed endless. Together, the nine heroes cleared the streets of as many beasts as they possibly could, buying time for others to escape.

While one set of parties wished to help people and another wished to take the fight to the dragons, two parties had gold on their mind. And helping the King, but mostly the possibility of a gold reward. The Assblasters and the Keepers of the Woods searched the city, calling for King Lockhart and asking any and all fleeing citizens if they've seen him. The trail led them to his keep. As they arrived, the double doors to his throne room were flung open by a wounded King Lockhart himself. The King limped a few steps before collapsing onto the cobblestone, gripping his wounds. He pointed a weak, blood soaked finger back towards his throne room before passing out.


After stabilizing the King with a healing spell, the parties peered through the swinging double doors. As each door swung open and closed back and forth, the adventurers caught glimpses of a menacing Akmong Sus perched on the King's throne.

With the King safe for now, our twenty-one heroes gripped their weapons, rose to their feet, and charged in.
