SO the renewal is coming up for this and I wasn't originally gonna go for it since the server is an abandoned wasteland

BUT

apparently A17 is actually dropping soon and the experimental build will be up this week (:

I'm thinking I might switch the server over to the experimental build id we're gonna continue this server. The old stuff will be wiped and we'll be starting anew in a glitchy wasteland that will probably be reset daily.

THOUGHTS???

Wait about two weeks for them to patch shit

alright, i will end this server and start the new one when the patch drops. I don't wanna pay for a(nother) full month if we're not gonna be using it

Alpha17 is now stable

but i'm not even thinking about a server until after the new year

nothing in this game has ever been stable

I got to play a little of a17 last night for the first time

it LOOKS so much better but I'm not as fond of other changes yet. It feels like zombies find you a LOT easier which is annoying if you're just trying to explore and build. I was in a premade cabin exploring it a little at night. I made a single noise and a feral wight immediately break through the door, ran up the stairs, broke through all my other defenses, and killed me in 3 hits. And then he didn't despawn the entire time between me dying and coming back for my bag which was half a day later

On the one hand thats fun and challenging. ON THE OTHER HAND I have almost everything set to an easy setting until I get used to all the changes. I can't imagine what this is like on a normal difficulty
